The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Let the image and doctrine come to life in our life

No 23 of  Living Life Series 1

Here is the parable of the Chinese general.

There is a Chinese general sitting on seat of office co-ordinating and admonishing the art of war against the woes and foes. The art he spells out is for the need to be in control of the opposite camps, to be in harmony with the warring factions. There is need to be part of things, yet to be to be on top of all factions and not to be swept by the doings of the factions. Overcoming one faction to give way to another will only end with endless faction giving way to another time and time again.

With left hand in salutation, the seated general beckons all to do what they can, and the sceptre in his right hand is the symbol of authority of the general. His dragon seat depicts the high office of his appointment.

Now there is the heavenly saint depicted as a general.

He is Lord Bo Tien appointed by God for the mission to co-ordinate and admonish the art of war against the woes of evil of ego, which makes us far from Heaven. The art he spells out is for the need to be in control of the opposite camps of yin and yang in life, to be in harmony with the yin yang factions. There is need to be part of yin yang, yet to be to be on top of yin yang factions, and not to be swept by the dynamics and doings of the yin yang factions.  Let us not be swept from yin to yang and from yang to yin. Let us not move from gain to loss, loss to gain, happiness to sorrow and sorrow to happiness in this lifetime. Let us will not to move from birth to death and from death to birth…ad infinitum, but let us be in control and be on top of them.

The image of Lord Bo Tien represents the doctrine of life, how to be in harmony with the yin and yang of life, how to be at peace with the truth of God, how to one with God by being on top of life and yet be part of life.

The need for near regimental discipline in pursuit of ultimate spiritual peace when one will be one with God and one with and yet on top of life in the universe is emphasised, reinforced and reiterated by the splendour of divine armour of a marshal of Heaven.

With left hand in salutation, Lord Bo Tien beckons us to do what we can, and the sceptre in his right hand is the symbol of the mission. His dragon seat depicts that he is emplaced on the seat of the Holy Spirit, (the 'leng' or dragon in Chinese).

The good disciple or follower of the messengers of God like Lord Bo Tien, likewise must beckon others to do what they should. We carry the symbol of God's will in our right hand to beckon others to try to be one with God and not be distinct or separate from God due to the bad ways of ego. We have to be on top of and be in harmony with the yin and yang of life. In due time, we as well as the many others (we reach out to), will be one with the truth of God and the heavenly saints whom God sent forth through the sects and religions of the world.

Let the image and the doctrine of truth of life it portrays come to life in our lives regardless of our religious affilation or even if none.

The image portrays the doctrine and the doctrine is in the image. Thus did Lord Bo Tien tell us time and time again. His image embodies or personifies the Inner Truth doctrine common to and underlying all religions.
