The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Words of motivation for the new day and year

No 1062 of Living Life Series 1

A new year or even a new day is cause for rejoicing. Rejoice. Be happy with our loved ones and friends. Count our blessings that we have come this far, celebrate and share the love for life with the world.

Share but not sacrifice. No one asks us to carry the cross of the pains of life. No one asks us to be crossed with life. There will always be the ups and downs. What matters is we be steady and have the peace come what may.

Treasure the little blessings we often take for granted and then we will have reason to be happy and more so to find our balance and peace.

It has been a long way and surely we can keep going. We must move on. The little blessings and moments in life are most important.

Do feel fulfilled and not be filled by soreness and lament or we will be blind to the blessings in life we consider as little. The little blessings are actually big blessings.

Go for more of such blessings we somehow take for granted. That way we can have more life in life and be be more alive to life.

As in the great ocean, there is but one taste, the taste of salt, so also with the new year or day anywhere in the world, there is but one taste, the taste of having arrived yet again to have more life for the myriad little blessings we still have and can have in life - never mind the ups and downs along the way which are nothing new anyway.

God and heavenly saints of all religions are there for us. We must reach out to them. Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is one of them. He says that he is like the great ocean who reaches out to many a land to many a man or being - and to many a soul anywhere.
The good lord with God and all saints are blessings we often take for granted. They will help us to find our balance and have the fulfillment in life. To be at peace with life and grasp the gospel behind and in life is what we need.

Everyday is the start of a new year

No 1061 of Living Life Series 1

Let everyday be a new year. Each new day opens up opportunities and doors for life. It is up to us to open doors to new life. That is how life should be, otherwise we will shut ourselves out of life and be prisoner of life. Do pray to God and saints like Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 to open more doors for us to open to more life beyond the doors and enable us to solve problems and harness more blessings.
With the shelter of God and saints, big issues become small issues and small issues be no issues. This too did the good lord remind. But there is element of fate which we must come to peace with. Be peaceful come what may.

Then we can have more of the blessings of life, more so the little blessings we often take for granted. With the blessings of Heaven, there will be more doors made available for us to open. We must open more doors but must not rush into it or stay away.

We must move on in life but do so in peace never mind the hiccups, the storms along the way. No storm will last forever. This is a truth the good lord reminds us time and again. This is how we should live life. This is the life we need to live. This is the way we climb up the ladder in life for more of peace and be rich in peace ever the more.

Welcoming the new moment with inner peace

No 1060 of Living Life Series 1

Every moment gives rise to a new moment and we are often not excited about this.
But when there is birth of a new life, we are excited. But then, this too is about having a new moment. The death moment of the immediate past life gives rise to the new momentous moment of a new life.

A new life is a gift of God in many religions. Every new life is like the gift of baby Jesus to the family.
Then again, there is the new year. The old moment of the last moment of the year gives rise to the new moment of the new year and there is cause for celebration.

Well, in fact we need to celebrate and treasure every new moment in life and not while the time away as though we have all the time in the world. The world can wait for us. That is how we think.

But life too cannot be about rushing to do as many things as we can. It is about making full use of the moments to create better moments.

It is about clearing routines and not leaving it to the next moment. It is about having inner peace while doing things in the moment and readying ourselves for the next moment.

For this, we must not let go of life nor cling on to life and be troubled. Life is just the means to the end and the end is just the peace we want in life.

Peace is not idleness. Peace has to do with purposefulness in a quiet and calm way so that the process is as rewarding as the end result.

We must begin each moment with inner peace, live in the moment with peace, end the moment with peace and start the next moment with peace.

To have this, we must know ourselves. We must find the balance. We must know our resources and capabilities. We must balance between doing nothing and doing too much.

We must not waste away life. We must not be at the mercy of life. We must not rush around and be overwhelmed and lose our inner peace.

There must be that mindful balance as depicted by the feet of the lord saint Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 balancing the elements. This they say in days of old is yin yang balance.
The white marble image of the good lord is a picture of inner peace and steadfastness for inner peace come what may. Inner peace is what we need.

Logical to be illogical in religion

No 1059 of Living Life Series 1

Religion and logic should go together but often when people believe, they just believe. It is just easier to go along that way.

The culture that we know as the Tao  or Way has to do with logic or common sense but even the teachers of Tao have to contend with the reality that popular religion must be different.

Popular religion can be illogical. People just do what they want. If they want more of worldly life instead of religious life, that is it. This has been going on for ages.

The logic behind is that logic may be simple but it just don't work. What the common men want is more of the worldly needs - the worldly life. What they want is how to have more and if possible to win money at bets and the casino. This is the reality though decadent and illogical.

But if you don't cater to the illogical, how do we attract the attention of the masses. Thus to cater to the non-religious needs is a religious necessity. It is logical to be illogical in that sense.

The sages of the Chinese ancestors have gone along with this for centuries. They never would say that such ways are the ways of the anti-saint. In fact we can say that the saint won't mind as this brings in the crowd.

Insects can only be attracted to the flower for the nectar. Blame not the flower for insects coming to it. This did the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 say.
He also added that what is considered far may be the near. The granting of worldly pleasures is the one sure way to bring people to a temple. Telling them to forgo these and be saints one day will put them off and they will stay away from religion and from temple for sure.

In all religions the world over, this too has happened but in more justifiable manner with cloak of religiosity. The worldly carrot is a necessity to wean people off worldliness and is here to stay in any institutionalized religion.

Well, it is in a way logical to be illogical in religion. Give them more of worldliness and soon men will realize that it is better to be less worldly and be pure like God and saints.

Society does make mockery of religion, God and saints

No 1058 of Living Life Series 1

Men are strange. All they want when they go to a house of God is for God to make them more worldly than godly. They go to religion to be more non-religious but they will deny this outright and tell you in the face that you are insulting them.

In being in a religion, they want to be more with the world but claim to want to be with God. While in the world they are in, they have to work for it and maintain what they can have. In a religion instead of working towards God, they want God to bless them just like that.

They only think they need to believe and what they wish for will be delivered. It is simply like that. It will just drop from the sky. No need to work for it at all.

But what they want is not heaven here and now but the worldly blessings that religion is not originally designed for. They don't even want to work for these worldly blessings. God will grant them if only they will believe.

They want prosperity and priests are not slow in catching up with this in any religion. They capitalize on this human weakness and make social and financial capital out of this.

They promise worldly prosperity and status, not spiritual richness and attainment. Even then, to top it all, they promise that there is no need to work for it. Worldly prosperity will as it seems just drop from the sky out of the blue.
This in short is the prosperity gospel. According to this, we must enrich ourselves by going to a temple. Before that we must enrich the temple and the saint of the temple. Isn't this not rational at all?

Will a saint need cash - human cash for the matter?  God and saints provide. They do not need men to provide.

Religion teaches us to be less of this world and more of the world above - more like God and saints. But what happened is the opposite. We end up more worldly than religious by going to a religion.

Many may be in a religion but they are far from religious - more worldly in fact. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that the problems of men are many and plentiful. Even by going to a religion, they create more worldly problems by more indulgence in this world - not less.

They are supposed to be near to God and saints but end up more far. Religion helps them to be more worldly and that they say is what they want in religion. On top of that they think that they are religious. This is ironical and bordering on absurdity.

Society does make mockery of religion. Popular religion runs such a risk.

Frankly, can we buy the blessings of God and saints in exchange for our belief in them? We cannot do so with men, let alone God and saints. No man will give us what we want just because we believe in him. There is no free lunch however free it may be. We have to rise above this human weakness. Religion is not to encourage this. But sad to say, religion may actually be doing this.

This is not religious at all - just hijacking religion for furthering the non-religious urge or want in man. In fact, this will be exactly the opposite of what religion is for.

Well, the reality is that men just want to be pampered and be special. They cannot accept the true nature of life. They go for religion to be more worldly. What they want more is to have more of this world and they think religion is the answer to how they cannot have more of this world. The ridiculous part is that they want this without lifting a finger. They will insist that God provides.

They will end up far from God and saints. Those who work at life to have what they can have and perhaps a bit more may have less wants and more at peace. They are near to God and saints though they stay clear of religion. Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 laments that the near may be far and the far near.

The good lord says men must cross mountains and seas, weather the hot sun and drought in life. He says that hard work and suffering make the men but if you tell men this, they will not accept this. They want to live a rosy life and think that this is so though this is not. They want to live in delusion.

By doing so, they are playing into the hands of the devil in the very name of God and saints. They are playing up the card of the anti-saint in the very name of the saint of God in their respective religion.

They make devil out of God and saints. This will spell trouble for the world and pave the way for the second coming of the saint in the respective religions but will men be ready for this? For all we know, many will welcome the devil as saint and regard the saint or even God as the devil. Even the Buddha will not be spared.

This is in the nature of society and should be accepted. In the world of science, the majority will follow existing beliefs and just leave things at that. But the top echelons will question more and they are the ones who make new discoveries. They will have hard time initially of winning over the majority.

In religion, the top echelons too do know more and challenge themselves to know more. They are often misunderstood if they try to explain to the majority. This has been going on since time immemorial.

Ultimately, religion is a personal concern and should not be a societal fad. Religion is between God and the man and God means and speaks different things to the same man at different times as he progresses in relationship with God. If we let society determine the say of how things goes, then this will be interfered with.

A quiet Christmas for divine peace

No 1057 of Living Life Series 1

Jesus Christ is the savior
Mass is the celebration
X'mas is for salvation.

The Lord Jesus is the Christ
for the mass that always be
on twenty fifth December
for us all to remember
On this one day he was born
His birth heralded the joy
to the world and to all men,
but quiet joy it has to be
so all will hear the bells ring.
In the silence of the night,
He was born in a manger
and visited by the wise
in the dead quiet of the night
with hardly any in sight
Three wise men to be exact
did come and receive his love
which he brought from God above
a quiet love with all the peace.
They foresaw his birth with ease.
Yes, Jesus you bring with thee
love of God and saints we need
for which O how you suffered
but you quietly left afterwards.
On the cross of godless men
you were to suffer in vain
that men may then suffer less
and learn that pain can be gain

Lord Jesus good Word and works
made him like a king of men
A threat to the king was he
but in truth no earthly king.
Just God in the man is he

Crucified for high treason
but no wrong Lord Jesus did
Jesus was maligned indeed
betrayed by one out of mind
despite his being so kind
Whatever it is or be,
Jesus had given allot
Oh Jesus you are so great
but you prefer a quiet lot
to toil on with not a break
That is why there must be rest
a quiet Christmas is still best
indeed for one and for all.
with divine peace be the all
for this day to stand so tall
Others too welcome the day
to be with the faithful lot
though not yet their saint to date.
OK to be with the lot
so says Bo Tien the good lord
To be one in all with them
To be one in all in them
and also be one for them
so all are ever same then

Together in Christ we awe
let us stay to ever pray
to make the day of all days
a quiet joy and peace for all.

Hope we not ever fall prey

to the ways of the evil
and the lot of the devil
for this do we ever pray

Let not the Lord Jesus' pain
on the heartless cross of men
be that futile and in vain
or be the excuse to gain

But do be quiet in worship
not be loud and imposing.
Do keep to the divine peace
and be like the shepherd's sheep
Others may not with you share
so don't shout and over air
the views you have in the breeze
Peace is what they want and need
A quiet Christmas for true bliss.
Let there be the peace divine
so that all will be so fine
Be it on Earth or above.
Lord Jesus came with God's love.

Quiet Jesus is the reason
Yea not men by any count
for the season we reckon
let there be silence around
Silence is of God and saints
Noise is of men so that vane
They prefer noise to quiet peace
and prefer mad buzz to ease

Go for God and not the man

No 1056 of Living Life Series 1

Go for God and saints
Not for what man says
But what God and saints say
That is what counts, isn't it?

In conversations,
would one say the same
to every a man
surely, it cannot be.

Likewise for the divine,
They talk with each one
what pertains to that person
Isn't that true to reason?

The question is this
Is the person imagining
or is it God and saints talking?
That is worth thinking.

But let not this be excuse
to let one say his piece
and tear him to pieces
and not leave him in peace

If the man has some peace
let him think his piece
never mind he talks to self
or perhaps God talks to him.

But man must never think
of disrupting others' peace
or he too have no peace
if he insists to say his piece

Every man wants his say
more so of God and saints
what more can we say
if man differ in their say.

At least he is happy
though you don't agree
but please show empathy
No need to be angry.

Everyone is unique
Each has to be himself
no need to feel sorry
if one dislikes his story.

Go for God
and not the man
Man is no God
and God is no man.

Worship God and saints
and not the God in man
nor see the man in God
Didn't God and saints say?

This Lord Bo Tien said
Stick to what God says
in the faith of the day
never mind what others say.

The good lord says
all religions are true
but some think
theirs only is true

The same old story of men and temple

No 1055 of Living Life Series 1

People have egos
and they will never gel
unless there is a common cause
usually a common problem.

But even then,
there must be a beacon
they must look up to one
whom all can look up to.

That someone may be a deity
or even a tycoon philanthropist
Then there must be the operator
who need to be charismatic
and able to woo the crowd.

When there is no common cause
such as setting up a temple
and no operator for a deity
then there is no appeal and no hold.

How then can they be one
and the temple will lose
its luster and its impetus
for mission and for God.

Conditions must be ripe
But once ripen
and borne fruit
what next my friend?

Well if there is no Word
and few are wise in that
then it is back to chaos
and clique domain

There is no longer
all for one and one for all
but what each one can gain
if he is down there at the temple.

Then no longer is it
a temple of saint
but a temple of ego of men
with festering of ill-will.

That defeats having a temple
There must be the Word
and the Word is king
and the Word is God.

But reality is harsh
Few grasp the Word
let alone live in Word
So the same story ever be
This is the story of men

Without the Word
love will not be
and hatred prevails
nothing holy about hatred.

Yes nothing holy at all
about hatred and ill-will
How can there be foes
when we must love all?
This is ever the more
in any temple of a saint
what a let-down in temple
if bearing the lord's name.
Where is the love?
Where is the kindness?
 - that must be for all
for even the far.

How can near be
far from love for all?
That would be sad
and somewhat mad
The good lord says
the far is near
and the near far
but if love be there
far or near is same.
Religion is to save lives
for sure not to hurt
even those we dislike
That is the way isn't it?

Change them if we can
if not agree to disagree
That would be kind
where love must ever be.

Then doubts will end
and minds will meet
but new ones arise
that comes as no surprise.

Just keep the precepts
no need to be perfect.
This for now will be good
so says lord and God.

Good for the world
the universal temple for all
with heaven as the roof
and religions the pillars
Didn't the lord say so?
The world is a holy temple
why must there be ill-will?
Nothing holy about this
just no place for this at all.

Mission by Heaven not by men

No 1054 of Living Life Series 1

There is need to save souls.
Religions try to do that.
All will agree with this.

This is more than meeting
the worldly needs
and has to do with
correcting the mind.

There is need
to not want more
than necessary
which will harm
and not to want nothing
which too is harmful.

It has to do with the spirit
the mitigation of ego
to have inner peace.

This is the mission
Men are not ready to do so
even in a temple of the lord
Lord Bo Tien
the messenger of God
to spearhead the mission.

The reason is their ego.
Men are not ready
but Heaven is ready.

Ego of man
is the bane of mission.
Cooperation is not there
but conflict of ego is.

Religions can attract men
but not give true peace
as long as ego is there
and has the better of men.

This is exactly the case
of why there is mission.
But mission will be
by heaven and not by men
This Lord Bo Tien says.
