The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

"The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want"

No 1072 of Living Life Series 1

Psalms 23, "The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want."

God provides us with enough but not excessive worldly needs so that we be in better position to learn to be at peace with life and in God and saints through the Word.

The Word is to be good, not to be hurtful to others and to be pure at heart. Then we do not want more, are contented with our lot.

We also do not reject or go without the world.  We do not give up with the world.

We are at peace with the world. We are able to be atop the wows and woes of life.

This they refer to as the Way (Tao) - balancing polarities of yin and yang in old China. Buddhists refer to this as the Middle Way.

Christians refer to this as the living in the Word and having inner peace of the Holy Spirit. We will by following the Word be beside still waters and green pastures - be at peace. After all, God is the Word and the Word is God

Psalms 23, "The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters." The Word brings peace.
The image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 depicts the peace through purity that can be achieved by being atop the yin and yang as depicted by the feet on the elements. This explains why he too said that the Doctrine is the image and the image is the doctrine.
This post demonstrates the oneness of the Word in all religions. Meditation too is no longer the purview of one or two religions but of all. Meditation is about calmness and insight of life.

Anyone can have better inner peace by learning from other religions to better know their own. They will end up better at what they are - better in the religion they are in. This is what the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 seek to achieve in his mission.

The mission is to save souls but before that can be, every soul must be better at being what they are. Every being must be good, avoid evil and purify the spirit. This underlines the psalms 23. The emphasis is on being right, good and pure.

"The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake..."

By being good and pure, we restore and save our souls. That is it. Peace be, peace be for you and for me - for one and all.

Worship and idolize not Man, God, Saint or Word

No 1071 of Living Life Series 1

Worship not the man who lead but the lord saint who speaks through that man. Walk not in the shadow of that man but in the shadow of the lord saint.

Let the lord saint lead and not the man. Put not the man on the pedestal so that others can glorify him. Men shall only glorify God and lord saint if indeed they need to glorify someone.

These may seem right for many but not so for the more discerning in the long run. There is more to all these.

Any lord saint like Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 wants us to go further than that. We must see man from God and saint and God and saint from man. We must also go for the Word or Doctrine a lord saint represents.

We know little of him except for the Word through his messages. Yet few read and digest the messages. Few care to elaborate and bring to life the messages. There are even those few who deny and give their own messages instead

The lord saint Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 said that His image is the Word and the Word is his image. He is the Word and the Word is him. Some put this at the wider level. God is the Word and the Word is God.

Go for the Word. Live by the Word. Let the Word bring life and peace.

Ideally, worship not any man, saint or God - not even the Word. Go beyond need for worship. Go for the Word and be alive to the Word.

Do good, avoid evil and purify the mind. This is the Word that all talk about in their respective ways regardless of religious persuasions

Worship is an attachment of sorts and can be extension of the need to satisfy ego needs. But yet in long run, it is not. It is good as initial means to the end which is to know and live in the Word.

Worship not man who speaks the Word when God and saints don't even want us to be head over heels devoted to them. They don't want us to idolize them. No hero-worshiping and no idolization.

You don't need an image to idolize God and saint. You can end up idolizing God through extreme adulation or through a man - the priest or leader on the pedestal. You can even idolize a holy book but not live by the teachings of the book.

Worship and idolize not Man, God, Saint or Word but live by the Word. All be the visible and invisible including men, God or saints will rejoice for you.

Have you seen the light?

No 1070 of Living Life Series 1

A Deepavali dedication. Deepavali is the Festival of Light

Have you seen the light? Are you still thinking that everything is alright as you have God behind you?

As long as God is behind you, life is still alright as God will triumph. But till kingdom come, when death is nigh, you will insist that all is alright in the name of God even if it is the other way round. This they say is faith and living in hope and in the promise of God.

Men like to see the rainbow never mind if they are in the desert of life. With hope made so real through passionate devotion, the desert of life though there is like the garden of life. Men need hope and hope is good.

But men too need to know and admit the reality of life and that life is not rosy. Even a bed of roses have thorns. Men must be in touch with reality and not day dream.

Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that if we know life, we know God and the gospel of God. Life may be tough but with fellowship of other men and with the backing of God and saints, no problem is too tough to surmount and overcome.
Issues however big will at least be less issues even if they cannot be no issue if men seek blessings of God and saints, if men help one another, and if a man knows and lives by the Word and helps himself. The Word is God and God is the Word.

So have you seen the light? Go not just for hope but go for the light. Do not dream on but be real and go for the real - not the dream. Have the peace and the oneness that is God.

But in many a temple, there is hope but sadly there is darkness. They live in their own dreams and are asleep instead of being wake. Some even fight tooth and nail for their dreams. They enforce their dreams on others.

There is no peace and no oneness. They are dreaming and asleep - not awake to light. They are not seeing the light. They are dreaming and in darkness of sleep.

The far not the near will be mission orientated

No 1069 of Living Life Series 1

Like Gautama and Jesus, the people where the lord saint Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 make himself known will over time deny him. The people elsewhere all over the world will hail him.

Firstly they will deny his messages as the personal views of some even though it is printed by these same people in a book Lord Bo Tien's 武天菩萨 Guidance. Perhaps they know best.
Then over time some will have doubts of his identity. They will think he is the concoction of men.

But in the first place would you believe that men could on their own by themselves speak out such wisdom as in his messages which are simple and yet profound.

They couldn't and all that some at ground zero say is they should do good deeds. People everywhere have been doing so. No need for mission for that alone.

His teachings will spread far and wide like the ocean to many a shore. People in distant lands away from ground zero where he descended in 1969 will believe in the messages and believe in him though they be be far from ground zero.

The good lord predicted that the far will be near and the near far. Will this come to pass?  Well it is already happening. The far and not the near will be mission orientated. There is no doubt about that.

He added that the Word is in him and he is the Word. Isn't this familiar? The Word is God and God is the Word.
The problem arises because people fail to see man as man and saint as saint. This did the good lord say.

At ground zero, there are those see the man in saint and lost faith in what he said and in him. Then there are those who see the saint in man and went astray. This too is a far too familiar story of Man and God in religions.

Always or rather ever so often, the near to the teachings of great ones like Jesus or Gautama will be far from the teachings and it is the far beyond where they lived historically will embrace and accept the teachings. The teachings of great ones will be revered by the world but not by the very people of their land.

Well, the far and not the near will be mission orientated. History has shown time and again that this is the case. The far is near but the near will not be forgotten by Heaven though far from mission orientation.

Well again, this is just the way of Heaven. The way of Heaven is never the same as the way of men. This did the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 remind us. Men is less forgiving and expect the allot out of other men.

What was told of the 10 inch image of the lord

No 1068 of Living Life Series 1

This 10 inch image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is made of teak wood. It has lasted for 45 years and will likely last more decades.

It was in front of this image that the good lord came down through the late Philip Png. It was in front of this image that the anniversary messages of the lord were delivered.
Just before the concrete temple was built, it was replaced by a bigger image of the lord. The representatives of the lord said that it will be the main image and if there be bigger images, it will be placed inside the bigger images.

But this did not happen. The initial bigger image about 3 to 4 feet tall was from China and blessed by the lord through Philip. The 10 inch image was placed in front of it for a few days after which the 10 inch image was placed at the back altar of the old temple.

At the current concrete temple at International Road, the bigger image developed a crack at its base. It  was considered bad omen and was burnt and sent back to Heaven so to speak. In fact the good lord predicted that  his image will be returned to Heaven if people were not attuned to mission.

In its place a brand new image of similar size was ordered from China. But like it or not, by then the late Philip was no longer around. No initiation ritual of sort was carried out and this was in line with the much ado and more open thinking.

The 10 inch image is still there but is placed in attic room most of the time. The significance attached to it is no longer there.

You can say that people have changed and gone modern. Even on yearly anniversary celebrations, it may not be brought down from the attic room. If brought down to the main shrine, it is placed at a side table and not the main altar.

Times have changed. People have new thinking and new ways. This has to be accepted.

In the last two years of Philip, the representative of the lord confided that a few pioneers might have a chip of the wood from the bottom of its base to be burnt with the remains of the selected few pioneers.

As to who these few would be, it was never told. Perhaps, no one deserves this honor. But we really don't know, do we?

What was deemed the in-thing may no longer be. Every generation has its own outlook. This does not mean the generation is at odds with the old, but just the need to be different somewhat and to be better.

Men do not want to be overshadowed and be in the shadow of other men of the past. They want to stand out on their own and show that they too can do the same and more in better ways - not in the ways and beliefs of old but in their new perceived ways. Yes, indeed they often are better.

In the process, they edit not only history but the doctrine - often over simplifying it. They feel more right and more correct than those who had passed by and passed on.

That is it. That is why what was told of the 10 inch image of the lord will mean nothing to them. That is also why it is necessary for the mission of the lord saint to bring men regardless of religion from the downstream doctrine to the upper source.

As said by the good lord, we must go to the upper source for clear water. But the current of the downstream is very strong and it is easier to flow downstream. It is easier to be with the crowd than to be right and lonely - away from the crowd. That is the problem.

What would we expect then? Surely the 10 inch image will gather dust in the attic. So too will the primary purpose of the mission to reach out to the world to make people better at what they are and not to showcase what good they could do - which of course others too could and already did.

Heaven do know and they assure that all who meant good and do good will still be blessed. Men often cannot see beyond the good they are doing. That is why the good lord says that the Mission is by Heaven (God and saints) and not by men.

May all be well and happy. May men go further than the good they are doing or want to do.

Praise not God, saint or men of spirituality

No 1067 of Living Life Series 1

Is praise necessary? Yes it is but yet it is not. Why? A good done is done because it is good and not because it is done for praise. But praise can at the same time motivate the doer to do more good.

Certainly at the same time it would be unkind to rob him of the goodness of his good by praising it away. Praise is not the reward.

In fact, the person who does good should ideally expect no reward, let alone praise. Then he would be doing the most out of the good.

Thus it comes as odd when men say we must praise God and saints. They say that praise opens the door to divine grace. Does God or saint bless us only if we praise him? Certainly, God or saint is beyond the need for praise.

But it is men who should feel thankful and grateful for being blessed by God and saints. Expressing gratitude is alright but it is a different thing altogether if we try to thank God by praise.

What we need is to be even more good than good after having received the goodness of God and saints. That is better than praise. Praise can rob away the goodness of good. Gratitude must be beyond mere praise and words.

We must show gratitude through more good. God and saints will rejoice in our making it to more good. God and saints are no megalomaniac and seeking praise all the time. Most men are like that but not God or saint.
In the early years of the mission of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨, it is the gold standard of not wanting praise for the good we have done. Seek not praise but do more good.
Praise is not for God and saints and not for men of spirituality. Praise is more for children. Do we treat God or saint like children by praise?

We must show through action and not just words. Do more good and that is what we should. Do good, avoid evil and purify the spirit.

Gratitude must be expressed this way. Not only God and saints will rejoice but even men will.

Mission of Lord Bo Tien is more than doing good

No 1066 of Living Life Series 1

Despite the anniversary messages put into print by Bo Tien Temple Singapore, many still have hazy idea of the purpose of Lord Bo Tien's 武天菩萨 descent in 1969.
They think it is only about good works and they are right. But if they care to read the messages though they are too brief and do not cover in detail what the good lord said, they would know that there is more to it than good works.

The added problem is that many think the messages printed are not to be taken at face value. In short, they are not what the good lord said but perhaps the personal views of some.

There are three phases the mission to save souls have to have.

The discipline or setting up phase is the first. It is depicted by the image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨

The second phase is the charity or welfare phase as depicted by Goddess of Mercy.

The third phase is the Doctrine or Word phase as depicted by the image of Buddha.

But with time and with view of going along with simplicity, many take the mission as just charity.

Yes, it is about doing good and the ultimate good is the gift of truth - the Word. Even the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 said that "The Word is my image. The image is the Word."

But like what he said about religions, there will be changes, deletions and additions to the teachings of the founders of religions with the passing of time.

This is just like the flow of the river. The water downstream is very different from the clear water at the upper source.

There too obviously will be changes to the goal of the mission. Few are those who want to know more and to purify their spirit. They think doing good, charity is good enough. They think that that is it and they will be Buddhas.

But purity of spirit is not just charity or doing good. The mission strives to make all better in purity in spirit through their respective religions. All will then be better than what they are.

Thus mission awareness will be lost when people care not about the Word as in the messages of the good lord. What more this will be if they think the messages are humbug.

Mission is more than doing good. Good is just not good enough. Purity of spirit through existing religions boils down to purity of grasp and practice of the inner truth or basic doctrine to purify the souls behind all religions.

As aptly put by the historical Buddha, we must do good, avoid evil and purify the mind. Such teaching is basic to all religions.

The Buddha never never say we just do good. Doing good alone is not enough. Ponder on this and have the insight to purify the mind or spirit. This can be achieved through any culture or religion.

The Mission of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is more than doing good. If it is just doing good and doing good is all that matters, then religions and all houses of God and saints are already doing so. Why then the need for his descent in 1969?

For those who claim to be doing the Mission, they must at least have some basic common sense or logic. Without logic, what would become of the mission?

They would be the  joke of the town and be such let downs. But don't you worry. Heaven will still take care of them.

Moreover whatever good they do is still good though may not be good enough where the Mission is concerned. Heaven is ever all embracing and compassionate. There are no chosen ones and no rejects either.

Unlike Heaven, men can lack logic, be blind and be bias. Men can reject other men they don't like - not Heaven, God and saints. Even those in Hell are not rejects.

The Deepavali Connection

No 1065 of Living Life Series 1

Let us celebrate the Hindu New Year Deepavali with  a dose of the thoughts of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨.
The good lord said in 1975 that we be a collection of candle flames. This is exactly what Deepavali is all about. It is the Festival of Lights.

A lone light alone is not enough.

One temple or religion is not enough. We need many to light up the world.

One man or clique cannot make it to bring joy to all. That man or clique cannot even bring enough joy to themselves.

Deepavali heralds Christmas occurring just in month before. There is the same emphasis of joy to the world and not just to any group. There is joy to all - believers and others.

This must be the case in all aspects of life. Why must men claim turf even in a religion or in a temple of a heavenly saint? Well, it is because they know not enough. They are not yet saints and know not the Word.

The Word the good lord says is God and lord saint. If they know not the Word, they know not God and saint even if they stand in front of God and saint.

The Word is the lord. The lord is the Word. The Word gives light. Deepavali is all about light and the Word is the light of life.

The many temples of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨

No 1064 of Living Life Series 1

The real temple of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is the world with religions as the pillars and the sky or Heaven as the roof. All the people in the world are in this temple.
Any temple of men built in his name must like the universal temple comprise of people. It must accommodate all and not be exclusive - not under control of a group of men with vested interests. If exclusive to some, it is only a temple of such men and not a temple of the lord.

A temple of the lord is the people and not the building of bricks and concrete which do not last, more so if it is on lease of say 30 years or more. Such lease is common in land scarce nations and may easily cost ten times the cost of the first 30 years to extend.

Only a temple of people of flesh and blood is a temple of the lord. A temple of concrete may be costly but a temple of people is priceless.

It is through growing the people in numbers and in quality and it is through constant re-enforcing the togetherness of the people that bring wonders. No challenge will be difficult to fulfill, be it financial or otherwise.

Yes, indeed, the people in any of his temples can have different religious persuasions and inclinations of sorts but they must be one in accommodating one another. There must be at least some give and take to begin with but this is not enough.

They must promote and grow themselves to be better in what they are by understanding the oneness of religions and the oneness of truth despite the plethora of understanding.

There is the oneness of the inner truth underlying the religions of the world. They are able to accept and embrace the thinking and ways of one another as obvious derivatives of the same basic truth

Each group keeps to their views and become better at what they believe. They are better able to do so by taking into account others' differing perspectives. They are not in their own world. They share the world of God and saints under the same sky.

Any temple of the lord must accommodate all views with harmony and tolerance despite the differences. If this is absent, then such a temple is NOT living up to his name.

Living Life Series is also for the people of all religious persuasions. It promotes oneness in diversity. It is a temple of people of all walks of life and views. Readers are in this world wide web temple. It too is a temple of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨

No one is excluded and that is for sure. It caters to the diverse needs of people of various religious persuasions to make them better at what they are and in the religion or sect they are in. This is characteristic of any temple of the lord.

Not going to the upper source is the real devil

No 1063 of Living Life Series 1

Whatever was said by a heavenly saint will be believed at that point in time as from him. But as time passed by, many would say he didn't say so. In fact, with time, others will water down what he said or even add on their interpretations and comments. This became what he taught.

As more time lapsed, what would we expect? Many would say that the teachings were not from the saint. Given enough time, a compassionate and loving saint would be portrayed as someone who meant bossiness and a firm enforcer of sorts.

Then some might even say that he is not as saintly or not even a saint or that his existence is a figment of the imagination of men. This would be ridiculous but it happens or rather can happen.

That is why there is need to go to the upper source for clear water and not flow downstream with the crowd. That is why there is need for mission to show the oneness of religions by urging us to go to the upper source - the common basics.
This mission is no easy one. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨is the messenger of God and saints for this mission. The objective is to urge us to go to the upper source and realize the oneness of religions and sects. The basics are all the same in religions.
The good lord spearheading
the need for going to the basics
Go to the basics and if we get the basics correct, all will be well. We will be better at what we are. We will be better at whatever religion we are in.

Any temple of any heavenly saint like the good lord is not spared from the problems and issues of men. Men would in time even deny what the saint said and add on teachings which he never said. Then in time, they might think he is not even history and history will be rewritten by men.

All will be well if we do not flow downstream with the crowd but go upstream instead. It is best to know the truth or doctrine and if we can grasp this, we will know God and saints better.

That is why the good lord says that the Word is the image and the image is the Word. The problem is in men who know not the upper source. The problem is not in God and saints and not even the often maligned Devil.

The poor infamous devil is ever on the receiving end. Not knowing the upper source is the devil. The devil if any is often man himself.

The men of any temple who know not the basic original message of the lord saint of that temple will end up bedeviling the temple. That has come to past and will ever occur again in temples.

This will make the mission undertaken by the lord saint Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 ever more challenging. How can we blame the flower for insects coming to it for nectar?

Such men who bring a temple to its knees are the very ones God and saints want to reach out to. What better place than in a temple of a lord saint? As said before, the good lord says that the far may be near and the near far.

Reflections on Bo Tien Day

No 1062 of Living Life Series 1
13th day of 9th lunar month

The issues of men are many and plentiful. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 said.
But because men are problematic, they will even deny that the good lord said so. The good lord added that the day may come when there will be those who think he is the concoction or imagination of man.
Men cannot separate God and saints from men and men from God and saints. Men are men and God and saints are God and saints. This was stressed by the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨

Thus the moment the teachings of a religion is expounded, it will be diluted as life goes on. The good lord says that if we want the pure and early teachings we must go upstream to the upper source for clear water.

Good works are always good but how good they are depends on what is behind the good works. Is there the ego agenda? Is the good work secondary to primary gain of the doer.

Like what the good lord says, that some do good for personal motive but all the same, no matter what, they will still be rewarded and blessed for the good work.

But ideally, there should be the purity of intention behind good work. There must be pureness of spirit.

But alas even in any temple, the good lord says men come like insects to the flower for nectar. Well, the good lord says that we don't blame the flower for this.

Good works, for example, help the destitute to have three square meals a day and a decent shelter in an aged home, so that they can live life as humans in some decency.

But the problems of man are many and beyond decent shelter and three meals. Men are not contented. Men cannot be at peace.

All men, be they destitute or well-off must have peace by balancing the pulls and push of life - the yin and yang. Only then can they reach ultimate inner peace and save their souls so as to be able to save others' souls. That is why good works though good are not good enough.

Religion too is the good work of men. But religion itself is not good enough if it ends up as the vehicle for the personal gains of men - the worldly appetites of men for ego needs.

But please don't blame religion or God and saints for that. Blame not the flower for insects coming to it.

Blame not any heavenly saint if the men who do work in his name disappoint you. Men will ever be men. See the men from God and saints and the God and saints from men. Know who is man and who is God or saint.

All be just followers in a temple of a lord saint

No 1061 of Living Life Series 1

It has been commented that once a temple is built, many members and devotees of a temple keep forgetting that a temple is made of flesh and blood of people - not bricks and concrete.

It is all because of the concrete building that people clamor for control of it. Before the advent of the concrete building, there is no issue. All welcome one another to play their part to build the temple.

But the concrete temple that arises can be a liability and cause problems.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that we should not blame the flower for insects coming to it for nectar. It is not the fault of the flower.
With the rise of a concrete building, people in a temple often end up at odds. They cannot talk nicely to one another. Everyone or other wants to be heard and not hear. So what do you expect?

Everyone thinks he knows better and in fact if the lord saint of that temple do actually speaks to them in person, it is not unbelievable that they will not recognize the lord.

The near can be far. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says of those in a temple of a heavenly saint.

Far and near makes no difference if there is the bond of doctrine to bring people as one temple. Building and status should not divide men.

Many in a temple, be they members or devotees are so blessed over the years by the lord saint of the temple that they become people of stature and resources. Being somebody and no longer nobody, they want to be heard and not hear.

Those who were somebody in the past will no longer be respected as the others grew in stature and wealth. They would be forgotten. People in the temple will no longer look at them in the eye. Let this not be a concern.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨says thus. Be pure and evergreen. Be like the tree in the wilderness that is rooted in ground water and not the trees in the orchard so dependent on gardeners and rain. In a drought, the trees in the orchard are barren but the tree in the wilderness is still green and bear fruits.

When a temple starts off without any building to call its own, the temple crowd are just followers and not leaders of men. But with a concrete building, lo and behold, many are leaders and no longer followers.

All should be just followers and take the lead from the lord saint of the temple. Why must men take over from the lord saint? Why can't they just be followers?

Be rooted in purity and stay evergreen

No 1060 of Living Life Series 1

A man of spirituality must be rooted in doctrine and he must be pure in spirit to maximize the effectiveness of the doctrine in him and through him.

This is more so if he is to be spiritual leader. Otherwise, he would be more akin to any non-spiritual leader.

A religious organization too would be more like a worldly one if the people running it are more polluted by the ways of the world - by the ego and the need to be in charge and in control.

This is likely as many are not ready and pure in intent. They still want personal gains and this colors their motivation.

But without them, who else would be there to constitute the flock?

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 has this to say. "Blame not the flower for insects coming to it for nectar."
Thus he added that where there are men, the problems of men are many and plentiful. This applies too in any temple and a temple of the lord is no exception.

He stresses on the need for men of any temple to be rooted in subterranean water of spirituality so that they can weather onslaught of drought and problems. Then they can be evergreen and fruitful.

He said that even a whole orchard of fruit trees might wither and be barren of leaves let alone bear fruit come dry seasons. But the lone fruit tree at the foot of the hill outside the orchard will stay evergreen and bear fruits throughout the year though unattended by gardeners. It is rooted in ground water.

It is good to be rooted and nourished by purity of doctrine that can be found in all religions. Religions may be different but are one in need for basic goodness and purity of men - in basic doctrine.

Truth after all is that simple but yet profound and difficult to perceive. That is why there is the mission of the lord to bring out the pure goodness of the Word in all religions - not to add a new religion, sect or temple to add to the existing plethora.

Do be rooted in purity and stay evergreen. For this, we may need to be different from the crowd. We must not follow the crowd but dare to stand out from the crowd.  But is this the case?

Anyway as what the good lord says that the near may be far and the far near. The crowd in a temple may be near but what matters is more than being there.

There is the need to be pure and evergreen come what may. Be a living expression of the Word - the doctrine common to and behind all religions.

The mission of Heaven is to enable people to be pure and evergreen through their respective religions. Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is the messenger of Heaven for this mission. His mission is just that alone and nothing else.

It is not for others to know him or worship him. You do not need to know him. You only need to know the Word and be pure.

You do not need to know God but only the Word for the Word is what matters. The Word is what makes us pure and be close to God and saints.

The Word makes us be like God and saints. The Word is God and saints. Live and nourish in the Word. Stay pure and evergreen that way come what may.

The Prayer of all prayers

No 1059 of Living Life Series 1

To all heavenly saints I greatly adore. I believe in your existence and thy glory is in the thought of men. I seek for thy protection and guidance so as to live better for the time to come.

Isn't this a universal prayer? This was introduced by none other than the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨.

It underlies the belief in all religions and the saints of all religions. He advises us to pray to all heavenly saints and not just to him or anyone saint.

You can be what you are but be better than what you are by believing in all saints and be blessed so much more.

Saints bless all who need blessings. They are not selective. They take care of those who need help more. If they do not do so, those lagging behind will be left far behind.

Need more be said that man is man and saint is saint. Saints are not men. Men may choose and pick.

Men can be picky but not heavenly saints. To portray God and saints as picky is to underrate them. The love of God and saints is for all under Heaven even those in hell. This is divine love - loving kindness.

All we need to do is to pray. Those who pray to God and saints with heart, the saints do know and will come to them. This is what we need to do. There is no conditions set. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 assures.
Even if there is a bad patch in life or if ill-fated, with the joint efforts of all heavenly saints, big issues will be small issues even if for now they cannot be no issue. This the good lord says. God and saints do answer prayers.

For the Word is God and lord

No 1058 of Living Life Series 1

There is no other God than the Word - for the Word is God and God is the Word.

There of course are God, Buddhas and heavenly saints but there is only the same Word behind all religions though this may be expressed outwardly in various ways.

The Word is about doing good, avoiding bad and purifying the mind. Buddhists say that this is the teaching of the Buddhas. In fact the historical Buddha said so. All need to do that. They don't even need to be Buddhists.

In fact, all will say so whether or not they are God, Buddhas, heavenly saints, men or whatever beings they may be. Even those in the hell realms know that.

But to know and believe is one thing. To be able to do it and do it most or all of the time and with pure intent and not for self gain is another.

That is why the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 tells us only of the doctrine common to and behind all religions and reveal little or nothing of himself.
Though he is portrayed in magnificent military armor, the good lord is no general and not an ancient Chinese one at that.

He is as relevant as the Word. The Word is in his image. The image is the Word. He said this, didn't he?

In fact, he who knows the Word knows and is close to not only him but God and all in the various realms of Heaven. Such a person is loved by all - not just by gods but by all beings.

He is pure in mind, in intent, in speech and in actions. He is like the pure white marble image of the lord.

Doctrine in image. Image is the Doctrine

No 1057 of Living Life Series 1

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that he who knows the doctrine sees and knows him. He who does not sees not and knows not him. The doctrine is in the image. The image is the doctrine.
The good lord descended in 1969
to spearhead the oneness in inner truth
behind all religions
Once descended, he is seated to oversee the mission.
The scepter in right hand depicts the mission.
The left hand depicts the need to be steadfast and committed.
His being in military armor depicts serious intent.
His feet on the odds - the polarities of life
showcase the doctrine of need to balance
the contingencies the yin and yang
to achieve peace and purity as depicted
by the white marble image below
The mission in all its pureness
will spread far and wide
like the ocean to many a land.
There is oneness in diversity of religions -
oneness in saving souls
through all saints and religions.
There is need to awaken people
so as to be better in what they are
in whatever religion they are in.
No new faith or sect needed.

No need to worship him
as the new saint
just believe in his message
and be better in what they are.
