1) Lord Bo Tien came down to provide guidance so that we can have insight.
2) He let us know that there are the teachings of God, the doctrines, to help the individual to be united with God.
3) He emphasises the practice of universal compassion is the cornerstone.
4) We have His guidance, the doctrines and the practice (of universal compassion) to form the triangular framework of The Mission and The Temple.
5) This framework alone is not enough and He is mindful that we need some form of binding experience to convince us of existence of heaven and earth. If we cannot see at least we can feel and experience in addition to understanding the messages
6) Hence in the1976 anniversary message, He gave out the following pointers.
7) The Temple is where the physical temple premises co-locate with the spiritual realm. This allows “harnessing of invisible forces existing alongside” (refer 1976 anniversary speech) i.e. harnessing in the form of spiritual learning and experiential art or cultivation which comes in two versions, sitting and standing.
8) Devotees who initiate themselves as members invoke the invisible force, which is actually the Divine Force or Spirit of God. The feel of the force coursing through the body is awe-inspiring and a truly out-of-this-world spiritual experience. It is the gift of the Divine Spirit for us through Lord Bo Tien.

It is the gift of the Divine Spirit, namely the gift of Divinity. It is the link with Divinity for more enriching and personal spiritual development.
