The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Lotus flower may wither but its seeds can give rise to more lotus flowers far and wide

No 170 of Living Life Series 1










"He then illustrated the mission as a lotus flower which blooms in purity and beauty and yet uncontaminated and untainted by the muddy water from which it arises. Even if it withers as it would do so in time, all will not be lost as it will produce seeds which are useful to all. New lotus flowers would bloom in time to come."

The above stanza is meaningful. The men who are pioneers of a religious institution initiated by any heavenly saint often are like a lotus flower but as they are learning and imperfect, they may err. Even if as a group they wither like the lotus flower, they would have done good and beautiful things in the prime days of the group. Though they may backslide and leave the group, all is not lost as they would have produced seeds for new groups to spring forth and flower like the lotus flowers from seeds of the original flower.

In a similar vein in Lord Bo Tien's 1983 message it was mentioned that if one temple cannot make it, the doctrine can go to 49 others to nurture 49 successful temples

DIVINITY PREVAILS EVEN IF MAN CANNOT If despite efforts by any heavenly saint, a spiritual organisation like a temple could still not make it even with all the doctrine, then the doctrine would go to 49 other successful organisations. This is to show that a heavenly saint is divine and not man. Divinity will persist and prevail even if Man cannot. Man may be shortsighted but not saint.

Lotus flower may wither but its seeds can give rise to more lotus flowers far and wide. A temple or spiritual organisation may not make it despite rooted in heavenly guidance and doctrine but the seeds of its good works and doctrine approach can help 49 successful organisations. A heavenly saint's good mission will prevail even if that by men appears otherwise. The ways and reach of saint is beyond that of men. Man may be shortsighted but not saint. Man is man and saint is saint. A heavenly saint is like the vast ocean compared to man. A heavenly saint is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. The mission of which Lord Bo Tien is messenger is The Mission of Heaven and not that of men. This is true after all. Praise be to God and saints.
