No 171 of Living Life Series 1
1) The Holy or Divine Spirit of God the Jade Emperor is with the mission of Lord Bo Tien. Like a dragon, it has a long body. Our Lord Bo Tien is represented by and constitutes one leg of the dragon.
2) The blessings the Divine Spirit brings are aplenty but often disciples in their ignorance might have left it with little room to manoeuvre and thereby impede its presence, manifestation and full expression.
3) Lord Bo Tien as God’s representative executes the Mission of Heaven through the Divine Spirit. 4) The Mission is to ferry all beings of all dimensions from being far from Divinity to be with Divinity
5) Divinity presents in three ways, namely,
God Principal,
His representative, and
The Divine Spirit.
They form the Triangle of Divine Trinity.
6) Spiritual or Divine practice / approach has trinity of embracing
Divine Wisdom,
Divine Tranquillity, and
Divine Orderliness.
This is the Divine Approach Triangle.
7) Divine Wisdom implies common truth behind all religions. The common truth is the truth of need to be pure and to be united with God so that there is no further tribulations of cycles of rebirths. God is the Divine Wisdom. In a temple shrine dedicated to lord saint Lord Bo Tien, the universal Buddha image personifies the Divine Wisdom, the God principality.
“Amitabha Buddha we seek for thy guidance” is one of the temple prayers
8) Divine Orderliness encompasses purpose, commitment, morality and discipline. In a temple shrineof the lord saint, the image of Lord Bo Tien with armour and sceptre personifies or embodies Divine Orderliness.
9) Divine Tranquillity encompasses four sublime virtues of Buddhism:-
a) loving thoughts for all beings, love that is the same for all beings
b) acts of compassion for all beings,
c) selfless joy or rejoicing for good and well being of others, and
d) equanimity of self without ego – not to be affected by yin and yang of life
10) In a temple shrine of the lord saint, Goddess Kuanyin personifies Divine Tranquillity, and we often pray to Her thus:-
Goddess Kuanyin,
Fully enlightened,
Virtue of all virtues,
Mother on Earth and in Heaven.
Teach us to forgive (tolerate)
And to be forgiven, (tolerated)
To love thee
And to be with us
The precepts of God.
Goddess, Most Holy,
Pray for us.

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.
