No 930 of Living Life Series 1
The little we know if we know it well and live by it is way better than the more we know and end up lost in the forest of knowledge and practicing nothing.
The one who knows not religion but lives the humble life, thankful of what he has and treasuring every day of life is more worthy of God and saints. He is more pure than the man at the rostrum who talks aloud about God and saints but unable to live up to the Word he so profoundly talks at length about.
The young child who knows nothing but knows how to be good is a blessing to the parents. The handicap who treasures life and accepts what he can have is a blessing to himself and a shining torch of hope to others. The blind who cannot see but sees the need to value whatever life he has is more worthy than those who can see but see not the blessings of life.
Many only know how to grumble and rumble. Surely they will tumble. They have eyes but are blind to life.
The greatest miracle is to bring insight to those blind to life and its innate blessings. To be alive is a blessing. To live another day is a joy.
Don't take life for granted. Live the simple life. Learn from the less endowed. Often they know how to be happy and those with more seem unhappy. Less can be more and more less. There is this truth in life.
Life is the living gospel that the gospels of religions cannot match up to. This is in all religions and is emphasized by the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. We don't need to know more from the written gospels. We only need to know life and not the written gospels.
The good lord says that the issues of men are many and plentiful and this is due to men. If men can fathom this, not only will they be lighter with less problems, they will not be perturbed but do what they can and be at peace with life. Life is rich in truth. Truth is in life. Let us treasure life as the living gospel of life. Let us be living the gospel of life.
Even the clergy increasingly tap into the richness of life rather than the gospels in their sermons. Indeed and without reservations, life as the living gospel supersedes all written gospels. The danger however is that the clergy who capitalized on life may well be looked up to by the congregation more as saints than the founder saints or sages. They may end up idolized.
