The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

God one and yet not one like religions of the day

No 947 of Living Life Series 1

Whoever says that "my God is not your God" is as right as those who say that "my God is your God".

God is not as man as many think he is and yet he is like man and feels for man.

He even allows men to think of him the way men deem fit.

Thus the presence of many religions and sects is testimony to this. Religions are there because men think differently with regards to God and spirituality. The goodness that is God is still one though different to the different peoples of the world

We have God through the saints among men who have come to us in history through the likes of the sages of history.

We have the goodness in men and this goodness is God in men. But the goodness in men need not be the same and yet of God as well.

Goodness prevail but takes on different shades. Diversity is in everything we know and that is the reality. Diversity is in goodness and in God.

Well, all said, God is not one but yet one. This is like the religions of the day.

God too is a person yet not because he is everywhere and in everything. We should be able to feel God everywhere and in every being if there is the goodness in us.

But we need to be wise and not blind to goodness. We should not see the wrong as good. But God and saints do not mind. They wait for us to open our eyes.

Goodness is the Word. The Word is God and saint. Goodness or Word is in the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. The saint is the Word. The Word is the saint. Didn't the good lord said so ?
The good lord also said that we blame not the flower for insects coming to it for nectar. Blame not God and saints for the badness that men do in their good name. Small wonder that bad can be done in the name of good - in the name of God and the religions of the day.

This makes it even more painfully true that God is one yet not one like the religions of the day. God for sure is magnanimous and can accommodate the often strange and diverse ways of men though men themselves cannot do so. Man is not God and this is true, isn't it?

Sometimes, we do need to sit back and think hard. We need to challenge ourselves on how we view God and religions. God is one and yet not one like the religions of the day.

God is but yet man is not though man may be like God. Isn't this food for thought? But for goodness sake, let this be no fodder for discord and seeds for harm among men.
