The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

No 458 of Living Life Series 1

Whatever happens to people who think Heaven is loving and yet ever ready to say that those who do not join them in believing what they believe will face the wrath of Heaven? Well one thing for sure is that they are far from loving for wanting their fellow men to face the music just because these men do not go along with them. Such view is no longer in the fore and will be a thing of the past.

There are many reasons to rejoice that right will prevail. Two of the reasons are hereby mentioned. They support the message of Lord Bo Tien that religions may differ but are one in basic truth and God.

The two reasons worthy of mention are the family and Christmas. Incidentally, Christmas has to do with families and Santa comes to every family and down every chimney on Christmas day. Isn't Santa the representative or personification of Jesus?

He does not discern families based on religion, race or nationality. He will never say, "Oops, wrong house, wrong family!" He will just say to everyone and every household, "Merry Christmas!" Which religion or sect a person belongs to is immaterial. He is here to spread the Christmas cheer. He comes with goodwill and gifts to all.

Many families have members belonging often to different religious affiliations and yet members of each of these families are one in family. This is the will of God and families are doing the bidding of God and his saints.

There is the need of togetherness as a family and as a society despite the differing religions and sects of the members of families and society. God and saints are obviously speaking to us loud and clear that they value oneness in diversity.

Sages of old in China refer to this as oneness of opposites - wholeness of yin and yang. The world is one whole but made of great diversity.

Men of varying persuasions must learn from Christmas. Whatever religions men may profess or even if none, all for sure can celebrate Christmas in their own ways.

The wonders of Christmas is in the air every year come December even in places where there is no snow and where few go to the churches. The joy of Christmas is unmistakable and palpable in the air. People of all walks of life mingle in the streets and liven up the atmosphere.

There is no need to be one in religion but so long as there is oneness in heart and one is willing to live up to Christmas, never mind one's religious inclination, one can blend into the season of joy and merry making with goodness of heart.

Hark the herald angels sing
Glory to the new born king

Jesus is born on Christmas day. Surely this is reason enough to celebrate for all are believers of Jesus in one way or other, even those who don't go to church.

Christmas is the  time to be jolly and a time to be thankful, a time to give and a time to receive, a time to sit back and be thankful and grateful to both Heaven and men. The Christmas tree is iconic of Christmas and so is Santa.

Who is Santa? In modern days, anyone can be Santa and that goes without saying. Santa is the epitome of love, of giving and of receiving, of love for men and animals.

Rudolph the red nose reindeer is ever in the minds of all and is synonymous with the magic of Christmas. Oh, how his nose so red captures our attention and imagination, kindling our long gone childhood fantasy to life and bringing wonders that awaken the joy of childhood in us.
Where is Rudolph when he is needed?
Many men in religion is like him.
But without Rudolph, there is no fun
Better to have more Rudolphs in men of faith.
They may be taken as jokers and trouble makers
But they liven up religion and bring cheer.
Moreover some may even be like saints.
What matters is the heart and not what one does.
The Christmas cheer is so remarkably established that all will agree that love is the hallmark of Christmas. After all, Christmas is the celebration of Christ and the word Christ is salvation through love of God for men and love of man for men. Merry Christmas.

Keep the bells of Heaven ringing for Christmas not only during the season but throughout the year. That is the purpose of Christmas  - to spread the cheer and keep it alive the whole year and year on year.

The bells are ringing and the angels are singing. Christmas is for all. Merry Christmas and always ever a Happy New Year for sure.
