The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The mystical experience at Bo Tien Temple 武天宫

No 922 of Living Life Series 1
- a levitating spiritual experience

Believe it or not, there is at Bo Tien Temple 武天宫 Singapore, the little known and hardly emphasized cultivation of spiritual art of divine power.

Before we dwell into what this is, let us admit that whatever doctrine there are on spirituality, men want the confidence that there is more than what they experience in this world and that God and saints do exist.

Men want to see God and heavenly saints if they can but know that this is not possible. Some even at the back of their mind think that God and saints are figments of the power of imagination of men. They are man-made.
So one day in the early years of the mission at the temple of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨, a request was made to grant men a divine gift - the gift of the direct experience of the presence of the heavenly saints.
The gift was granted not as a short cut to sainthood or spirituality but to give men the confidence and faith in the presence of heavenly saints and what they taught in doctrine will hold the ground and are indeed from God and heavenly saints - not just cleverly man made and articulated

Three incense papers green, yellow and red with inscriptions were made and blessed at the altar. The recipient would then burn them in a glass of water and drink the water. (A latter variant of this will be just to ask for the gift in front of the altar with an initiator present.)

Thereafter, he will sit down cross legged in lotus position and with hand clasped in salutation ask for the divine force. Then a surge of tingling and at times warm energy enters the hands and course through the upper limbs.

With his eyes closed for better concentration, the magical experience would be indescribable. The energy and tingling will direct the upper limbs to move in pattern unique to the individual.

It will grow ever stronger by the moment and more so with rapt concentration and mindfulness. This will give confidence that it is not due to suggestion. This too is meditation with the divine energy as the object of meditation, be it concentration or mindfulness kind.

It is a spiritual psychic experience which believers acclaim but which non-believers think lightly off as psychological or even bordering on spirit connection. Well, this depends on the person. One man's meat is another man's poison.

If you want to know more and take up the challenge, go down to Bo Tien Temple 武天宫 at 6 Fourth Chin Bee Rd, Singapore 619708 and if you have affinity, you will meet the few pioneers who are still divinely enabled to initiate you into the cultivation of divine force. (It is likely that it can be experienced too in any house of God and saints but there must be initiators)

To be able to get the blessing or gift, the issue is whether you are destined and have the affinity. If you have, then feel that more blessed and embark on the journey of wonder and bewilderment that will spur you to confidence in the heavenly saints and to want to know more their teachings on life. Do ask David Tay the elder in picture below. He will tell you more.
If you are not destined for the gift, don't worry as the gifts of God and saints for men vary from person to person. Even the style or pattern of the movement of the upper limbs in the experience of the divine force vary from person to person. No two are alike in pattern as though there is a divine overseer or guardian angel specific to the individual. Perhaps everyone is special to God and saints in his or her respective way. Everyone has his or her own unique life.
