The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The Godless God and the needless need

No 926 of Living Life Series 1

God is there but of what use is God and saints if we cannot be good and end up doing godless things in the name of God and saints.

Of what wrong is it not to worship or believe in God and saints if we can be Godly and good.
If there is no God, there is still the Word and if there is the clergy to teach the Word, people can still live in the Word and be good and Godly.

If there is no clergy and no God belief, there is still goodness in life. As long as goodness is still there, there is hope. People can still be good and Godly. In any dark cloud, there will ever be the silver lightning.

The Word may not be the God in person but it is God - perhaps the Godless God. The need for God is needless if this makes no headway for people to be good to be more like God. This can end up as the needless need.

Better to know and live in the Word than to know God and still be Godless - doing harm and having ill-will in the name of God and saints. Better to be far from God belief but living in God the Word than to be near and claiming to be of God but doing all the wrong in the name of God and saints.

The near may be far and the far near. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 the heavenly messenger of the oneness of religions in the Word says so.
The Word is in all religions and in life. It is the basic inner truth behind religions and written into the nature of life.

There is strife and imperfections in life. The very nature of life is already ironical. If there is life, there is afterlife. Why the need for afterlife if this life is lacking in life? Won't the afterlife be still life and if so how good can it be?

There is no need to clamor for life. There is need to be at peace with life. We don't need to wait till life hereafter. We can have peace here and now at this moment and in every moment.

We need to be atop life and it's contradictions. its polarities, and its ups and downs as depicted in the image of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 with feet atop the elements.

The sages of old in old China refers to this as Tao  - the way to be atop and balance the yin and yang. This way is common to all and is in all religions. It is in life.

Taoism is man made. The term makes it sound as though there is no Tao or Way  if there is no Taoism.

The Way or Tao  is the Word. It is the needless need. It is the way to make us less needy, to be atop needs and to cease being at the receiving ends of all needs but not run away from life and its needs.

It is the needless need or if you like the need to need less needs. It is God. It is the Word. The Word is God. In a way some are right in saying it is the Godless God. It is the need-less need.

Truth should be simple but why is there the need to twist around in words. Well, men often cannot see the simplicity of Truth. They need to go round in circles and only then they may be convinced.

If God is before them, they will not see God as God. That is exactly what happens to men. If the Word is God, if it is already in life, many will not see it. They need the man-made religions to attract their attention but even then they may not do so. But at least they are attracted and closer to the Word. Alas, the Word may still be remote to men, for men are by nature like that.

Men may be near but yet far. The far like our pet dogs may be near though far from being men. They can be more Godly and loving than men. The near may be far and the far near. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨commented. He further added that the issues of men are many and plentiful - even more so in religion and that is an issue or problem as well, isn't it?

After reading this post, you should know what is the Godless God and the needless need? If you still don't know, read once more and think again.

But to oversimplify, let us say thus. There is the Word. The Word is God and beyond God the person - the Jade Emperor. The Word is the Godless God. The Way to have peace and end-all of strife and have more life is to have less or no needs. Thus we arrive at the term "the needless need." The Word is the Godless God and the needless need. This sums up what is the Word or Tao 道.

That the Word is God and yet not God in that the Word is more God than God does not make God any less important. He is after all the ruler of of the three worlds of Heaven, Earth and Hell. This is how Chinese culture of old has to tell us.
It is complex but not illogical. It is more than logical. It is profound in a way but yet simple though complex to those who are lost by the intricacies of old China. People of old China may even be viewed wrongly as a confused lot. But who are more confused and who know better?
