The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

God is in us and with us with peace at heart

No 1179 of Living Life Series 1

To know about God one must know himself. He who knows himself knows the world. He who does not know himself will end up deluding himself that he knows God. He who finds no peace in himself will not have peace in God.

God is not in him when peace does not reside in his heart. He searches in vain for God in a temple or church but when his heart is void of peace, even if he can come close to God in a temple, he is far from God in his life. He is far though near.

The man who has peace in the heart regardless of what happens to him or around him is near to God though far from house of God built by men.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that the far may be near and the near far.
He who has peace at heart has God at heart. He who claims to have God but not at peace and always need to be in a temple to have some semblance of peace is far from God though he tries to be near God.

Know thyself and have the peace. Then God is in you and you are in God. God in us and us in God if there is peace in us.

Go not for the temple built by men but for the world created by God and saints for us. This is the universal temple. Heaven or the sky is the roof of the temple. Religions are the pillars. People are in this temple. But those who has no peace at heart even if in the universal temple is far from God and saints even though near to God and saints.

So cultivate the peace at heart, come what may. Be atop and not affected by the ups and downs, by the differences among men and by the wants in life that rob us of the peace.

Don't run from life either. Don't run from the world. Wherever we run to, it is still the universal temple. Be at peace with the life and the world.

This must begin with the peace at heart. We must have peace to have life and to have God in us.

Where there is no peace, religion becomes the excuse for conflicts, not just between religions in the universal temple but also within religion.

Without peace, people of the same religion will chip away at the same pillar and weakened the pillar. They shed blood in of all places the sacred universal temple - the world we live in.

Peace ensures the sacredness of life in the universal temple. Peace makes life sacred in the universal temple. No blood is shed and all religions are one when peace reigns in the hearts of men in the world. The world is the universal temple.

God is in us and with us in the world with peace at heart. We will bring out the sacredness of the world as the universal temple. We will not desecrate it with blood, hurt and ill-will.
