The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Conversion can promote inner truth in religions

No 1183 of Living Life Series 1

There is the place for conversion and conversion is good if the person ends up a better person. Conversion is not for a person to denounce the old and glorify the new.

It may be better for him to stay put in his culture and original religion than be uprooted. But if he has no social support and needs social support to be better as a person and to grow the weak spiritual light in him, it is of course better for him to choose another religion and culture.

Conversion is good if he becomes better as a person. Then all will augur well for him. He will end up near to the same God in his original religion by crossing over to the new religion.

He will be the responsibility of the new religion and they will take care of him. That will be good for him.

Though seemingly getting far from his original religion, he will end up near. His view of the new religion will still be through the lens or eyes of his old religion.

He will end up an asset to the brothers in his new religion by sharing with them a better insight of the teachings of the new religion through many of the principles of the old religion which are applicable to the new.

These strengthen the understanding and grasp of the teachings of the newly embraced religion. His brethren in the new religion he converts into will better themselves in doctrine as well.

Those who convert the new comer end up better in what they believe. This is what men should be. All religions have the same inner truth. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 wants us to know that we can know better of this inner truth by learning from other religions.

For others to take up the religion can better those in that religion. Cross fertilisation of religion is good. The converted can benefit those in the religion in enriching their grasp of the inner truth that is in all religions.

Conversion can promote inner truth in religions. It is definitely not for denouncing of the old for the new. It is not to devilized the old and godify the new.
