The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Why is there the talk of the second coming of divinity?

No 1165 of Living Life Series 1
Cross reference: The God Knowledge Messages before 1974

Men like animals have the pack mentality. Even with whatever clamor for civil rights for the individual, there is always the clamor for group interests. Group interests must prevail. But in secular society, there is additionally always the opposing individual versus group interest. This is not the only polarities to contend with.

For the cohesion of a group, there must also be strong leadership that is able to push the group interest. Invariably there is again opposing factors at play. The interests of the group at one hand and the interest of the few who provide the leadership. This is another set of polarities at play.

This  unfortunately and without fail applies to religion. In religion, the majority may not be at the higher levels of spirituality but only at the starting level of devotion and faith. They dictate who should lead them. The leaders are men, not God and saints.

What do we expect? The majority will look up to men like them but who has charisma. The pivot is on faith and devotion - the more the better. Devotion becomes the end and not the means.

The teachings and emphasis will thus be far from that by God and saints. This is inevitable. This is in the nature of men.

Then to make matters worse, the leaders will want to have easier job. They don't want dissent and noises. They exert over the men and win their trust. From then on, they do the thinking for men and any man who thinks differently may be put down.

What then would we expect? The religion that is moulded will be far from what the pioneers and founder saint wish for.

This is why religion may not be able to provide what the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 refers to as the God Knowledge. With time and over centuries, there is more distortion and adding of layers of elaborations and personal additions by men.
It becomes onerous and increasingly challenging for men to get at the pristine, pure and original message of the founding saint. What to do, men are men afterall!

Religion becomes the archaeological site for men to dig away the layers to arrive at the original teachings. To make matters worse, what they get eventually may not be whole but just relics of some bones. That is why in religion, there is always talk of the second coming of divinity such as the next Buddha or the return of Christ.

Man invariably causes the disintegration of the religion man loves and cherishes. If carried too far, man ends up as the demon or some refer to as the anti-Christ or Mara the Evil One. Some may not agree but this is likely and for real - given the nature of man.
