The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Let there be not one religion but many

No 1181 of Living Life Series 1



What appeals for one person may not appeal to one another. Surely God and saints know that. 

But what some men prescribe for fellow men is of the same one religion they prefer and they think their religion is for all men. 

How presumptuous men can be?  To go further, men may think that those who are not with them are wrong and have strayed or lost from God and saints. 

In fact, the presumptuous men are the ones who have erred. They wrong fellow men and God and saints by their narrow-mindedness and myopia. 

They are far though they think they are the chosen ones and near to God and saints. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 wants us to know. 

The presumptuous ones are near and yet far. They are a pitiful lot. They know not what they do. They cause commotion under Heaven and create problems for God and saints. They see the dust in the eyes of others and they see not the dust in their own eyes. 

They need our help. We need to be understanding to them. After all, they have good intentions even godly ones but end up serving the intentions of the devil in men. 

They see not the oneness of all under Heaven and in Heaven. They understand not God's plan for all beings. 

There must be diversity and as many ways to reach out to men. God and saints are like the ocean that reach out to many a shore. Rest assured that no amount of mud flowing into the ocean will sully the vast ocean. 

But over a long enough time, if we pay no heed to the bigotry of men, and more become overzealous and self-righteous and warped in thinking, one day the ocean will be tainted. 

That is why God and saints through the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 set out to manage the woes of men brought upon them by overzealous men of religion who on one hand claim to champion divinity but at the same time bedevil other men in the name of God and saints. They champion the ways of the devil instead. 

Do help them if we want to help ourselves and other men. They know not what they do. Do not allow then to harm themselves and bring harm to all men. 

Let there be no epidermic of pollution of spirituality. Let there be not one religion or way but many. This is for the good of all. 

One distinct advantage of belief in many religions is that we can learn more of the basic teachings in any religion by learning from the basic teachings in another. 

There will always be the same values in all religions. Look out for the same values and we will be spiritually richer and enriched.

Religions over years have add-ons but the same basic teachings are in all religions. We can learn more of the teachings of the Buddha in other religions. We too can know more of the basic teachings of any religion through Buddhism and any other religion.

Let there be not one religion but many. This will be beneficial for all and the individual as well.
