The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Doubts give wings for mission through new initiatives

No 1108 of Living Life Series 1

People want to do what they like and this applies too to religion. That is why without fail in any country, there are those who break away and start their own independent church or temple or even a new denomination or sect.

They believe in the same God and saints but just want to break free and be different. To be sure, the founding saint or prophet never imagine this would happen but it did.

To this day, there will always be new ones. These people who start independent denominations or movements just choose and pick on the teachings they want to focus on and even decide on their own interpretations.

They are in a way dissenters but still believers. They are believers who believe differently. It is better to go separate ways than to not agree and have problems under the same roof.

They have doubts and they understand differently. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that it is alright to disagree and have doubts. Doubts arise because people want to know more.

They may even want to know more than the establishment. This may raise eyebrows of those in the establishment. This can be disconcerting.
All who are learning and trying to improve spiritually will ever have doubts along the way - one after another. If we cannot agree, then let us live and let live. Without this, religion will not spread its wings.

Doubts foster spread of religion through new sects. Many megachurches and temples arise because people have doubts of the establishment and think differently. They want to go their way and they often succeed.

If we do not agree with the establishment in religion, feel free to do our own way. If the drive is there, start our own temple, sect or initiative.

Isn't that better than staying put and fomenting problems? No need to join them if we cannot win them over. It is foolish to fight them. That will be going against the very reason why we have religion or a temple in the first place.

No one should end up like insects going to a flower for nectar as touched on by the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. Why fight over nectar when we should appreciate the flower of spirituality?

Without doubts about the establishment, this blog site the Living Life Series would not have seen the light of day and the mission of the good lord would be confined and stifled at where it was.

Doubts give wings for the spread of spirituality or religion. This is the good side so long as people know how to  live and let live by spreading out.

Religions are just like that. Each represents a separate initiative. Within each, there are also many many sub-initiatives - divisions, denominations, sects and schools. There will also be independent church or temple - non denominational.

But all are one and though they work differently, they do synergise and work in concert somehow to reach out to the many and for the good of more - like the great ocean to many a land.

This is what the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 wants all to realise. This is the mission he talks about.

Ji Gong 济公 in his days as man think differently and have doubts about the establishment. He found it upsetting that people were putting up a show of doing good, not eating meat or drinking wine but did not put their hearts into goodness and purity.

What matters is not what goes through the gut or what one does but what goes through the heart. He broke free and made it on his own. Society is richer spiritually because of this.
He definitely started off as anti-establishment but ended up with the establishment behind him. He had doubts on the establishment and his doubts were not unfounded. His approach is relevant to this very day and will be so for the future.

He supports the Living Life Series because the series too would not had been mooted and kicked off if not for doubts of the establishment. Doubts give wings for mission through new initiatives.

Doubts are never evil but are due either to knowing too much or knowing too little. In either case, those with doubts want to know more.

Doubts may appear foolish initially and pain the the neck for others. Well, both those who think and those who cannot think that well can end up with doubts.

Whatever the case may be, doubts are to be encouraged and never should be labelled as foolish, anti-God or anti-saint. But logic or common sense must prevail. Then there is Tao  - common sense. Then doubts can lead to sainthood initiatives for individual and for others.

Ji Gong 济公 is good at creating doubts in his lordship so that others will start thinking and not just believe and follow. They will think how can he be saint, eating meat and drinking wine and yet compassionate, blessing to men. He can do what saints do - bless others and perform wonders and miracles. A saint is he.
Religions should not insist followers just believe and not doubt. People must think, otherwise they may end up blind with eyes wide shut and risk being misled, more so if the stress is on love not for all but for oneself and one's own saint.
