The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The awakening to the same goodness in all religions

No 1124 of Living Life Series 1

We see in the likes of Jesus, Buddha and what have we the same need to be good.

Good has to do with being not bad. Bad has to do with harming or hurting others.

Good is beyond no harm but being loving and an asset to one and all, not just to ourselves and those around us but to all - as many as can be.

If this is so, how can it be good if some say the goodness of God and saints is only for some and not for others. This will imply that goodness is not for others. This is a mistake.

They will then be not good. They are no longer good. They will be breaking the very teaching of the saint of their religion. Though near to the saint of their religion, they are yet far. (The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 reminds us that the near can be far and the far near. How true this is !)

We are taught to be good. How can we in the name of God and saint, in the name of a religion extend good only to ourselves and the not good or harm to others.

Good is beyond no harm but being loving to one and all. Not doing so is to run counter to the teaching of God and saints - counter to all religions.

Goodness is basic to all relgions and the inner truth of all religions. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 descended in 1969 to stress on this - to awaken all to this. He wants to bring about the awakening to the same inner truth of goodness in and behind all religions.

That is why on Vesak Day and for that matter on any other day, the Buddha taught that we bless everyone with wellness and happiness. Everyone includes those in all religions or even those with no religion. They too can be well and happy. They too can be good, avoid evil and purify the mind. All can be saints one day.

May all beings be well and happy. May all wherever they may be and in whatever religion or even if none be well and happy. May all without exception be enlightened one day.

This is true goodness, true love that is of God and of all saints. We should cultivate this wholesomely and wholeheartedly.
