The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Is there the need to divide men in name of religion and sect?

No 1115 of Living Life Series 1

The teachings of the Buddha is a continuum of the teachings existing in his time as man in the Indian continent. He pointed out how he viewed things differently.

Likewise the teachings of Lord Jesus is a continuum of the teachings of the prophets of the Jewish culture. He too pointed out how he viewed things differently.

But modern men are told that they started new religions.

When the teachings of the Middle East and Indian continent reached China, they are merely integrated into Chinese culture. But modern men somehow see the need to say that new religions were introduced to China.

Isn't this revealing and explains why it is men who cause problems among men by choosing to coin the institution of religion.

The institution of religion causes divide and pit men against men in the same culture and race.

On the excuse of being of a different religion, men in one culture and race act as though they have embraced another culture and race.

But yet, somehow they are different and remain basically as belonging to the culture they come from. Thus they will want to be different from those of another culture though they profess the same religion. They view beliefs through the culture they grow up with.

Thus if we know this, why not drop the term religion but the term religion is here to stay. The problems of men are many and plentiful. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says.

Men like to feel and think they know better than other men and because of this they proclaim they are of different entity. Yes they may be different but yet not because the differences lie in their cultural orientation.

If they do not stick to term religion and to the same religion as such, they still think they are different and more right in that religion. They will say that they are of a new denomination or sect. This divides men too and pit brother against brother.

It is the ego of men that is the root of all the problems. Ego is rooted in ignorance. Never think we are better. Always remember, we have more to learn and can learn more from others and from so doing, we learn to be better than the good we already have. We can be better at what we are.

Just drop the ego and the divides. Then we can break down the divides and learn more and be better. Do not be myopic.

Religious divides impede spiritual enlargement. Embrace the beliefs of others to add on to what we believe.

Open up and not close doors in the name of religion or sect. Is there the need to divide men in name of religion and sect?
