The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Better be lost in a temple than not be in one

No 1113 of Living Life Series 1

Have we not heard that empty vessels make the most noise. Many promises are made by men and not by God and saints that if men take up allegiance to a saint they be saved by the grace of God and saints and not by their own good. They say that the good in men can never be good enough.

Yes this is true but not doing any good beyond just believing in God and saint may actually be not at all good for then many will end up doing no good except being good in belief.

This may not be true. Let us think through. If there is belief in God and saints, then there must one day be belief in the Word or doctrine they stand for.

The Word is God and God is the Word. Know the Word and know God and all saints.

Of what use is believing and prostrating to God and saints but not knowing the Word they stand for. Then we are far though near. It may be better to know the Word, live in the Word and be godly even if we seem not to believe in God and saints.

But if we have the Word in us and are godly, God and saints are not only near us but with us and in us. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 wants us to know this and there is no need to know him or be near him.
The near may be far and the far near. No point being near to his image but yet not know him - what he stands for. The Word is him and he is the Word.

There is the inevitable risk of going to God and saints not for the Word but for nectar of personal gain. But the good lord adds that we blame not the flower for insects coming to it. At least they come into the orbit of God and saints.

They are lost from the Word but yet they are near to the Word and have a better chance to know the Word if they are in a temple.

It is better for people to go to a temple for the wrong reasons than to be outside of the temple with poor chance of redemption save for a few who can male it on their own.

Many are lost and swayed even in a temple but at least they are in one and have better chance of making good. Better be lost in a temple or religion than not be in one.

They may even distort the teaching emphasis of the heavenly saint. This is not good but the flipside is that if the not-good can bring in more to the temple, this may be of some good.

The unavoidable consequence in the long run however is that people may be misled. But in any dark cloud, there is always a silver lining.

A few discerning ones will know that they must rise above this and not be led by the nose. Salvation is not God-given but the seeker must do something more than belief. He must cultivate and be deserving. Believing is not enough.

Thus this again supports that the far from the Word may end up near. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is famous for saying that the far may be near and the near far. He who is misled by distortion of the truth will see through the deception and open his eyes to the truth.

He needs not change religion or temple but stay put and know better how to be better in the religion he is in. He will know as what the good lord said that he must not just flow downstream but go against the current to the upstream if he wants clear water.
