The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

What is Santa up to?

No 1108 of Living Life Series 1

He is the Earth Deity as he is known in China. What more Santa Claus? Is this how he wants to stay grounded 365 days a year. Perhaps, he feels at home in China. No need to come in darkness of the night and to climb down chimney. Ha ha or rather Ho Ho.

He is better known as a wealth god. He is more popular than Santa. He is a provider and a savior to many. There are many grand temples dedicated to his name. This is testimony to his lordship - no less a ruler of Earth and a savior in his own right.

He is one ruler who is not demanding or imposing but who consults you and gives friendly cues. Sometimes he even lets you have your ways which may be seen as a weakness by the judgmental but loved by many.

He is friendly, benevolent, loving and understanding. He has love for all beings. Isn't he more like a Bodhisattva (enlightened being who listens to the cries of beings for help) though he is a deity? Surely one day he will be Buddha. He is already as good as one.  It is only right that we offer lotus lights and incense for his lordship.
A whole big temple at Sitiawan Malaysia is dedicated to him. He is among the Buddhas and the heavenly saints. He is worthy of such standing. There is even a pagoda temple dedicated to him at Sibu Sarawak Malaysia
Earth Deity is among God and heavenly saints
From Wikipedia

He is just like Santa but 365 times more loving as he is around to give all 365 days a year - no rest day for him. He stays grounded and no sleigh for him. That is why he is a deity - no less the Earth God. He is affectionately referred to as Tua Pek Kong 大伯公.

He believes in giving - a gift always for everyone according to circumstances and needs to make better the lives of men and to make them better than what they are. They will be better in whatever religion or belief system they are in.

Isn't this the message of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 on the oneness of religions in goodness? Everyone will be good and better in what they start off with. They go from good to better. That is what Santa in Earth God too hope they will be. He gives so that all be better in what they are and will be.

This is how the far can be near as told to us by the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. The far can be near and the near far. Those who have Earth God or Deity with them take his lordship for granted and though blessed by him never make good let alone be better. Only when they no longer have an altar of him at home will they start thinking of what they have missed.
Many have eyes but do not see. Many have ears but do not hear. Frankly, there is no equal to him on Earth or in Heaven though he is not among God and heavenly saints above. He is on Earth and a close associate of Ji Gong 济公. This is truly him the Earth Deity - more than worthy of incense and lotus lights.
He claims no sainthood but accorded the status by men and beings. Truly, the biblical statement by Lord Jesus that the humble will be exalted and the exalted humbled comes to live in his case.
He is as what his Chinese name refers - lord grand uncle Tua Pek Kong 大伯公 to all. He is a dotting grand uncle at that. Isn't he like the dotting Santa that the world wants? Perhaps he is, or is he more than Santa to all? He rings the bells of Christmas for us everyday by dotting on us. He is a jolly good fellow.
He is only the Earth God but we think he is more than that. His goodness he showers on us goes beyond what is expected of his being Earth God or Deity.
