THERE IS NEED TO BE IMBUED WITH THE BASIC DOCTRINE COMMON TO AND BEHIND ALL RELIGIONS AND SECTS. LIVE IN DOCTRINE. DOCTRINE IN LIFE IS PARAMOUNT.

The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Ultimate "囍" Double Happiness 双喜 is through Spirituality

The ultimate of "囍" Double Happiness 双喜 can only be achieved in spiritual life.

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that any value or principle that works in spiritual life if applied to mundane or worldly life will work as well.

He says that such spiritual values are common to all religions and can even be practiced by those without religions.

One such value is to reflect on one's own thoughts as they arise before one acts on the thoughts.

We should be calm and not prone to emotional roller coaster. We should be at peace.

Let there be the calm, detached, non-partisan neutral part to look upon and reflect on the positive and negative. Be one's own judge, yet not judge.

We should not pass judgement to praise oneself to the sky or to damn oneself to fear, guilt or hell.

Practice this and be calm before, during and after any practice for every thought.

Do not be troubled by the practice and if this happens you have not done it correctly. You are not neutral, calm or detached enough.

But don't worry. Do not rush yourself. Do not chastise yourself.

Guilt is a sure dampener and spoiler. Men of religions should avoid guilt though men running religions want you to have guilt so that they can be in control of you.

God and heavenly saints don't. They guide. They bless so long as you try. They look after you and feel sorry for you if you are in the wrong or still do not get it right.

Men don't and try to act more God than God - more saint than any heavenly saint, and some say more devil than the devil.

Some say that any devil can be more kind than the devil of some men. Any devil may be more godly than some men at the pedestal of a house of God and saints.

Ultimately, it boils down to being aware of one's mind - one's thoughts and emotions not just during worship but in every moment of life. That way we get a little better each time.

May be, we may backslid. That is alright. Just get back to it. Do not be upset. Do not chase after results. So long as we try and do what we can, this will suffice. God and saints will be with you.

You will be in some sort of communion with God and saints every moment you try to balance your thoughts. Be aware of your positive, negative thoughts. Let the neutral thoughts be there to balance and loom over the other two and bring on the peace - the inner peace.

But remember all the three parts are you. Do not reject any or be attached to any.

When you are deep into the process which sages of old in China refer to as the Way or Tao 道, well there will only be the neutral or right thoughts - no more the other two. You have arrived at oneness with right mind.

You have arrived more at oneness with God and heavenly saints. You will have Heaven even now. Heaven is when there is oneness with God and saints. Didn't Confucius say so?

The image of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 amplifies this. Be like the image that balances the polarities - the yin and yang. This is depicted by the feet balancing the elements. The whole of the image dominates and sits on the elements.

Our mental and life energy should likewise loom and be atop the elements - the positive and negative. Grow the inner peace to loom and make insignificant that which would otherwise pollute our spirit and spoil the peace that we really need. This peace is the peace of God and saints. Only by growing it can we be one with God and saints.

No wonder the good lord says. The Doctrine is His Image. His Image is the Doctrine. Tao 道 is indeed logical thinking - Doctrine. Logical thinking (Doctrine) is Tao 道.

Tao 道 if practiced brings both spiritual and mundane fruits - "囍" Double Happiness 双喜. Some refer this as double blessing. Double blessing is the outcome of Tao 道 .

Tao 道 is present in any religion. Tao 道 means logical thinking.

Logical thinking or common sense must rule and is present in all religions. When common sense is lost, then irrationality sets in and what would we expect - problems and no peace. Logical thinking leads to balance approach and such approach brings peace.

All religions have the same inner truth which is logical thinking or common sense - Tao 道. The mission of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is to highlight the inner truth of Tao 道 or common sense in all religions.

Tao 道 or logical thinking applies to all aspects of life, spiritual or otherwise. There will be double happiness "囍" - spiritual as well as worldly. In fact this is a double blessing.

Those brought together in marriage must employ Tao 道 in life so as to have double blessing within double blessing - double happiness "囍" with double happiness "囍".

Lest you forget

Do not make the mistake of idolizing any man who tells you about the Word. He is in the same boat as you even if religion refers to him as a religious leader. Mere mention of a religious leader is as good as encouraging idolising of that man. Why must there be hierarchy in religion? Hierarchy is conventional but may end up as liability rather than a necessity or asset. There should be no caste or hierarchy system in religion. No one is to be considered above another in religion. A religious leader or follower is a servant to serve you and not a leader to be idolised. Do not put him on the pedestal and make a monster out of him.

MAY ALL BE WELL AND HAPPY

May all be well and happy. May they have peace. May our departed friends and kins be well, happy and have divine peace. The main writer wishes the best for all for those near and far. Our kins may be far when they had passed on to better lives but they are near though far. He remembers and wishes his parents Mr Siow Soo Koh and Mdm Tay Hung Siang, his uncles and aunties like Mr Tay Koon Huay, his cousins like Mr Tay Chong Sim and his friends like Mr Philip Png well and have abundance of life. May they be rich in spirit for without such ancestors, there will be no posterity - no us and no you and me. They have blessed us and we must blessed them in return forever and ever.
