The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

God is in all religions but concept differs

No 1080 of Living Life Series 1

There is the misconception that the belief in God makes the message that all religions are one in God inconsistent and contrary to the teachings of Buddha. This is when it is said that Buddha does not believe in God Creator.

Thus even in those at a temple of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 may have second thoughts on the message of the Four Pillar Doctrine of the lord. Four Pillars refer to the religions of the world and they are all one in God. What if Buddha says there is no God?
Obviously, there are variations in thinking and contradictions. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that we should go to the upper source for clear water and not flow along downstream.

All religions starting off were like the upper stream but with time, they evolve like the downstream to take on new considerations to meet the people of the changing times. Obviously there will be shifts of focus.

Buddhism is one of the religions with such shifts. Some say that it is for the elite who can think better. But the Buddha was not concerned just for the thinkers but for the common men who are devotional.

The Buddha did for instance say that there is no Creator God in so far as the heavenly ones have past lives and in fact future rebirths even if the ruler of Heavens is referred to as God.

He is thus in a sense no God if God is deemed as the Creator and he is no Creator. God was someone in past life and will be someone in next life.

Only fully enlightened ones referred to as Buddha and Bodhisattva have ended their need for rebirths. God however is subject to rebirths though long is his life span - unimaginably long.

Yes, Buddhists do not believe in that God is the creator but this does not mean they do not respect and revere God in the same way that the ruler of the land is no immortal, let alone creator but yet we respect him and know he can guide and care for our well being. He rules over us.

Like our relationship with the ruler of the land, we do NOT lower our regards for God and heavenly saints, let alone write off God and heavenly saints.

Thus while God is in all religions, the concept of God may differ from religion to religion. Indeed, God is in all religions but concept differs. This should bring and add to the joy to the world - be it Christmas or otherwise.
It is good to understand various views of God. Do read one view below which is appealing and contributes to our understanding of the love and limitation of God. The limitation lies with us. Do read the view below again and again. You will be charged with the love of God.

Answers about life and God.

God in all religions is portrayed as loving - wanting to help all. He loves all but what can he do when the problem lies in us. Of course the problem has to do with our lack of purity and oneness in God.

Man is supposed to be pure but end up not so. Unlike God, man thinks too much of himself and not others. Man in portraying God may portray his own weakness in God.

Let us know God more by going to all religions to know him better and in more complete and wholesome way. Then we will understand the love of God has no limit. There are even not only one religion but also many for his love to reach out to all.

By knowing the message or doctrine that all religions as one in God, we know God and heavenly saints all the more. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨says the Doctrine is him and he is the Doctrine. That is all we need to know if we want to know God and all heavenly saints.
