The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The last say for Vesak Day

No 550 of Living Life Series 1

Lest we forget, every effort counts and adds up.
Many drops of water make a mighty ocean.
The issue is whether we can carry on and on
And have the moments of peace along the way.
This is the way of Buddhas and sages of old.

Many moments of mindfulness and peace count
and add up to the vast ocean of peace of Nirvana
This is possible through any faith or even if none.
What matters is to have more moments of peace
and not wait for peace to be around to have peace.
Then Vesak Joy is there not just on Vesak Day.

This is the teaching of all Heavenly Saints.
Moderate and balance devotion with practice
No denial and no excesses but be equitable
So as to ensure there is peace even in the process
Then a saint or Buddha all can be for sure
This is the certainty we must know and have.

Which faith, saint or Buddha we choose matters not
So long as we know how to have peace even now
Never mind if it is just for the moment ....
This is the way isn't it for more moments that be.
Then worry not when we can arrive at Nirvana
Just have peace moment to moment and from life to life.

We are then Buddhas to come though yet to be.
Vesak is the day for all that will surely be.
Let there be the heart to be one as such
Let this be and ever will be in one and all
In Buddha and in all saints that are and will be

Let every day be Vesak for you and for me.
so more can say they will be Buddha after all
So long as more peace of moments there will be
when we have Buddha at heart day and night
And have peace at heart more than moment indeed.

Moments of peace we will have ever the more
So we can have more moments with Buddha Light
To brighten and lighten our life and others too
To make life shine like torches in the night
To light up the darkness of life for one and all
so as to shine the way for peace and life for one and all .

Alas in the temple of the lord too there is light and peace.
But how to have peace with men so bold we are told
Who use torches not just to light the way but to burn
and cause pain and shame to anointed elders as well
Isn't that odd and bold in the very temple of the lord
That men who though are near can be far from the lord?
