The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Do not derail the God belief in religions

No 1420 of Living Life Series 1




Men who are passionate about God may cause the very extinction of the belief in God. This is a sweeping statement and is meant to provoke more thought. 

It is not that such men do not believe strongly in God but that they over believe and oversell God concept to absurdity. 

They may start by saying that those who do not believe in God the way they do are not God-abiding. They make God to appear wrathful and such a God has no qualms in punishing those who don't believe to hell. 

They create fear to make others join them in believing God the way they do. They do so even to those who are of the same religion but of different denominations from them. 

When this fear factor no longer works, men who want to oversell God float the concept of saving by grace. We can do all the wrongs in life but as long as we believe, God will take over our wrong so that we will be right. We will be saved, just like that and it is so simple and why are we not believing? We have no reason not to believe. This is the gift of God, or it?

Both views are in some ways not realistic and the approach that is is realistic and grounded is none of these two but to believe in the Word God stands for and to live in the Word. 

But believers of the two extremes will insist that to be good is not enough. To them doing good will not save the soul. To them, this is self-righteousness that is the work of the Evil One. 

But then what becomes of the divine principle that God is the Word and the Word is God. 

Bo Tien 武 天 says that the Doctrine is in him and He is the Doctrine. He starts no new religion and to put it bluntly he don't care a hoot if others regard him as a saint or not. What he wants is to show to all regardless of religion, the need for the Word.

It is necessary for us to live in the Word and let us be the Word. We must learn how to be good and pure and this is what God or saint stands for. 

We must not only believe but we must put it into practice. We live in The Word. By so doing, we too can portray the Word. 

We become living examples of the Word - by being as good, as pure and as peaceful as we can. 

We bring to others the peace and pleasantness. We smile rather than frown. We are happy even when we should be down. We take life in our stride, come what may - the yin and the yang, the ups and the downs, the storms and the calm seas, and be it sunrise or sunset. 

We better project the belief in God. We do not cause the extinction of God belief - the belief in the goodness God stands for. The Word is in us and we are the Word. This way there will be no extinction of God belief. 

God is the truth. God is the way. God is the light. God is in us. Just live up to the Word - the truth, the way and the light. We too can be a beacon to others - a candle that lights up life. We can be the Word.

A religion may seem to give no emphasis to God belief but may stress on the Word or doctrine. Such an approach is to give focus on the truth - the Word. This will go the mile to prevent humanity from being waylaid by man-made concepts of God belief that will derail men from the Word and more than alienate us from God even in a house for God. 

Any religion that seems Godless but stresses on the Word is more for God than any other. Why? The answer is simply this. The Word is God. 

Adherents may appear far from God belief but are actually near. Those who over believe and over sell God belief may end up far though near. Bo Tien 武 天 did say that the far may be near and the near far, didn't he?

There are clearly pitfalls in God belief. These are man-made and not that God is humbug. 

God is not what men often think he is. Man's portrayal of God or for that matter any saint falls short of the truth. 

This has nothing to do with glory. God or saint does not need to be glorified if he is God or saint. Only imperfect man needs glory and to be glorified. 

Man tends to be wanting more and more of this and that. Man is ego-centric. God is beyond ego and never egoistic. But when man believes that man is made in the image of God, then if man is egoistic and glory seeker, then God too is egoistic and a glory seeker. This seems queer but men passionate in God may be like that at times.

Bo Tien 武 天 is like God or any saint of any religion. When he descended in the early years, he said he came down not to display any majesty and glory but to bring back the focus on the Word in religions. 

Thereafter, after leaving to us the revelation of the Word in religions, there was no need for him to come down as the Word is the saint just as the Word is God. Bo Tien 武 天 too is the Word and the Word is the Bo Tien 武 天.

He refers to The Word as the Inner Truth because it is buried inside religions and it is near and yet far to many in religions. Truth is indeed so simple. Perhaps it is just too simple that men are blind to it because they expect it to be much more complicated. 

They see God that is simple and pure as complex and complicated like many men with both anger and love at same time and powerful and yet helpless. They end up derailing the God belief in religions. 

The Truth that is God is inside all religions but men see the outside and not the inside. The more involved many may be in a religion, the more is Truth or God elusive to them. 

They misrepresent what is God and make God out to be exactly what God is not. They derail the God belief in religions. They cannot see that God is the Word and the Word is God. To them, this is gibberish. 

To them, God is like man and if man loves and hates at the same time, God too will be like that. Man can terrify other men and beings, so will God. How odd can this be? This will only derail the God belief in religions - undoing the very thing that religions are meant for.
