The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Why God or saint does not answer many prayers?

No 1392 of Living Life Series 1

If God or a saint is truly who he is, do not expect him to answer many prayers. He may not answer prayers by giving you what you want.

But some insist he will answer all prayers. In a way, this is true. Why?

He may not give you what you want if it is not in your best interest. You may have to learn from the problem you have at hand.

We can put it that he answers prayers often by not giving you what you want but make sure he meets your needs so that you can learn from the problem.

This will make big issues be small issues but they cannot be no issues as stressed by Bo Tien 武 天. You have to learn.
Sometimes, you may be fated to face big problems in life because of some mistakes in life, because of what you erred earlier in life or even in a past life.

You have to make amends and certainly God or saint cannot do so for you. He can make it easier for you by blessing you in other areas.

But if you backtrack and continue in your foolhardy ways, such blessings may make you a worse person rather than make you good and better. Then God or saints will no longer give you these other blessings which are meant to place you in better position to tackle your problem which you may regard as fated.

Really, this is not fate  as fate implies the will of God but rather this is your own doing. Certainly what is done by you, you must undo so that your problem will at least be mitigated even if the consequences of a weighty mistake cannot be erased.

But Bo Tien 武 天 says a storm will not last forever and calm seas will return. But if you continue to err and whip up the storm, the storm will last longer.

Thus what will help you and all of us is to be enlightened, to be able to think right. We need to be good and how to be good is common to all religions. This Bo Tien 武 天 refers to as the inner truth.

Then if we are good enough, we will have more peace. We will have peace in us so that we can weather the ups and downs of life around us.

By being at peace, we will be more pleasant and moderate the immediate social and physical world around. We will be loving not only for our own selves but for others as well.

We may not be able to change the world but we can change ourselves. In the process somehow what happens in us spills into the immediate world around us.

This post addresses the question why God or saint does not answer many prayers. But in reality he answers by seemingly not answering. God or saint does not forsake the long term interests of a person even if he is a religious leader.

Ever the more, God will be more concerned and want the religious leader to learn so that he will not mislead the flock with him. God answers by not answering. That is kinder than vocal and outright admonishment.

Isn't that amazing and awesome? God does answer all prayers. His silence if any is loud and is the clear-cut answer.
