The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Solution not in heaven but in life in this moment.

No 1385 of Living Life Series 1

Life and death is for us to learn. Don't think that heaven in afterlife is the end all. We need to learn and learn for lives to come.

If we can learn even now and come to terms with the ups and downs, our learning and not learning enough, we are at peace come what may, The ability to have this inner peace or equanimity come what may is what we must develop to be in better lives and climb the many levels of heaven till we no longer need rebirth anymore - not even in heaven. Then we are pure and saints - fully learnt and knower of all that are and will be.

There are many subtle levels of inner peace and with each level we achieved, we go to the next. This can be achieved by some in human life but some will need to go to heavenly realms to do so. There is always the risk of backtracking and we may have to downgrade to lower heaven, human world or even lower realms.

To be more complete, some even elaborate that we must grow out and beyond the need of inner peace or equanimity which is based on the mind sense. Then we can be beyond the heavens of the universe of multilevel heaven, man and multilevel hell.

We will have the ultimate of purity and join the pure ones in the supra universe beyond the universe we know. God and pure ones are not in the universe of multilevel heaven, man and multilevel hell but in the supra universe where there is neither physical nor astral forms - not even formlessness. Perhaps they are just cohesive and organised energy and vibrations - omnipotent and omnipresent

If we can break the barrier of mind sense, we will be everywhere and anywhere - independent and not defined by even the mind sense. We have awareness beyond what we can have with mind sense. That will be the greatest peace that is not inner peace but peace everywhere and anywhere.

Popular religion deals with the level of heaven just above man and the level of hell just below man. That popular religion does not deal with more than this is obvious. Religion would be remote from the masses if it deals with what most won't understand and even if they do, they may be cheesed off.

The simple level of religious understanding endears itself to the masses. For sure, it is not wrong. It is right but not exactly and truly right and inclusive. Thus right is wrong and wrong is right. Far is near and near is far.

But while popular religion dangles the carrot of heavenly afterlife, the perceived Heaven is not the end all. It is a mirage. Life is the end all and is the heaven we need to grow.

We can achieve what we want spiritually here and now and not wait till after life. We want the best of Heaven but want only this in next life.

But this is not the heaven that is the end all. We are near to the concept of Heaven that way but end up far. The near may be far. Rather. we should get what we can have spiritually here and now and not wait till the afterlife. Then we will ever wait for more afterlives.

Bo Tien 武 天 reminds all in any religion that the near may be far and the far near. He may not be in your religion and far from you but he cares for you regardless of religion. He is far yet near.

Likewise the saints of any religion may seem far but yet near to all the followers of other religions. If we understand this, we will feel a greater sense of peace and ease. We will feel that heaven is with us and for us even now.
