The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Life and death is for us to learn to be better

No 1384 of Living Life Series 1




When man is God or saint, the absurd becomes reality. But the congregation is in bliss. They like what is told by man in the name of God. 

When the ancestors of old dabble with the tradition of spirit trancing, those today and not in the culture for this frowns at it when this happens in this day. This is regarded as unbecoming. But cultures still carry on with this. God and saints do talk through men. Men do add on to what God or saints say. Therein lies the problem. 

When these men who think they are better decide to speak and act for God, they too are no different. God does talk to men and through men. But men can be carried away and think that fellow men at the helm is God or at least God is talking through him. 

History will repeat itself. Why? Man is man. God or saint is God or saint. This all are told but seem to fall on deaf years. Bo Tien 武 天 reminds us of this and says no religion is spared of this reality of man. Bo Tien 武 天 laments that the reality of man is the reason why. the problems of man are many and plentiful and of all places, this must be in a religion.  
Thus man must die when he is borned. He lives to make mistakes so that he can learn from his own and from others as well. We learn from the good and bad in ourselves and in others. Bo Tien 武 天 reminds us of this aspect. 

Problems are there so we can learn. Often, we make mistakes when trying to correct ourselves. When we fail to learn, we have to come to the end to go to next life to learn. When we do learn but has more to learn, we have to have a better next life to learn what this life cannot let us learn. To live is to learn and to die is so that we can better learn. To die is to open up more opportunity in a new life. 

When we are born into life as fetus in womb, we learn all that is in the womb. We learn to grow and develop the sense organs like ear, nose mouth, brain, taste and smell. These are of no use while in the womb. 

Once the fetus has served its purpose in life in the womb, it has to be born into the life of man. He is equipped with the senses to do so. 

When we have learnt enough in the world of man and grow the mind sense of awareness (mindfulness), peace and tranquility through meditation, we are equipped to be born in a heavenly plane to develop the mind sense which if sharpened is sometimes referred as the third eye or what others refer to as the light of the holy spirit. 

If not, we have to start over again as life as man or even life in lower realms. That is for our own good - not the wish or making of God or saint but of our own making. 

Life and death is for us to learn. Don't think that heaven in afterlife is the end all. We need to learn and learn for lives to come.
