The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

At least they do not come to a temple

No 984 of  Living Life Series 1

Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨says that for clear water, we must go upstream against the current. It is an uphill task and doing exactly what others won't do. The majority just join the crowd and flow. They merely believe what others do and just be pushed along happily downstream.
When the few wiser ones are at the upstream and are near to the upper source where there is clear water, is there the point to be carried away by pride and go back downstream to help those at the downstream? Is there the need to convince and cajole the others to do what they don't want to do which is to leave the downstream and go to the upper source?

The majority is happy where they are and happy with the water they have, even if it is not clear water as at the upper source. The wiser ones at the upstream should continue to the upper source and not go back to the downstream.
They will be pushed downstream by the crowd there and their plea for them to wake up and turn around to go upstream will be futile. The majority at a temple are those in the downstream of life and just flow along downstream. They blissfully continue to be worldly even in a temple.

Try telling them not to do this and to go for clear water of spirituality, they will be stunned and puzzled. They are not ready and it would be years before they are ready and receptive.

Even the few wiser ones at the upstream used to be like that. It took years for them to want to get out of the downstream and years more to go against the current to go upstream.

Now that the few wiser ones want to help, they must at least realize that change needs time. They too were like those in the downstream of life. How to expect people to change over night when they took years? For the few who have reached the upper stream and nearer to the upper source where there is clear water, is there the need for them to abandon the upper source and go back to the downstream.

Is there the need for them to be at the temple? They will be simply outnumbered at the temple and the majority will not be ready to listen, let alone join them to go upstream. It would be difficult  to go back again, let alone bring others along. Let the others have more time.

In any case the teachings of the lord saint of the temple is there albeit left in cold storage. The wiser ones should leave them alone. They too were left alone when they were in the downstream.

So for the few who are wiser and have left the temple of men to be at the upper stream of greater spirituality, they should at least not come back to the temple of men but stay upstream in the universal temple of the world with the sky or heaven as the roof and religions as the pillars. This universal temple was described by Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨. This few learn from all religions and know better.

But, if they are really wise, they should at least not even risk going back to the temple of men. They not only might not get their message across but they may cause turbulence downstream and cause the river of life to break lose, breached its banks and cause floods. At least they should not come back to the temple of men.

If they still insist, then the risk is that they make the lot of those downstream worse off by causing the flooding of the banks of the river of life. So do you get it as to why this post is titled, "At least, they do not come to a temple."
From this perspective, we would understand why matured and wise pastors and leaders of a house of God must vacate their pastoral care and leave it to the younger pastors and leaders who are less in tune with spirituality and more in tune with the downstream crowd.

They must fade away away from the maddening crowd of the downstream. They are meant for the upper source where there is clear water. To be of any good to themselves and to those at the downstream, they must at least not come back to the temple of men.

They must at least reach clear water at the upper source and be show case of what true spirituality is. This is so that others at the downstream will want to do the same and go upstream against the current and the trend.

Wise ones do not go back to the temple which they have left when they are wiser than the lot. Once in the universal temple of God, is there the need to downgrade to the temple of men?  Won't that be unwise?

The not really wise step out of the universal temple of God to return to the temple of men purportedly as saviors but may cause doom and gloom instead. They are not wise enough to know the time is not ripe and the people far from ready. They disrupt the peace of those content with and wanting no more than their lower and minimal level of religiosity.
