The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Lord Bo Tien in relation to the next Buddha

No 448 of Living Life Series 1

Since the advent of the historical Buddha some 25 plus centuries ago as of 2013, the universal doctrine or Dharma he explained seems to be made or rather is now progressively more distant to men.
In modern highly materialistic times, men may find it onerous to practice it and in its place people were given a soft option.

Just believe in God and we will be saved. We can continue to indulge in worldly life but so long as we worship and fear God or a Buddha through a saint or prophet, we will be assured of being in Heaven with God.

Whilst it is indeed difficult in modern times to cultivate the Way of moderation or balancing the yin and yang, the ups and downs, the polarities or worldly contingencies, it was somehow or other necessary in the eyes of men for buddhas and saints to reward men who are faithful with continuation of practice or cultivation in Heaven in the afterlife. The Pure Land sect is one good example.

But it would be a different matter if men think that there is no need to cultivate and that we are not saved by cultivation but by the grace of God and his special saint or envoy. Thinking thus some or rather many men may go to a place of worship and yet outside place of worship behave in manner disgraceful and unbecoming of men of spirituality.

This will spell the decline of the Doctrine for spiritual cultivation as foretold by Gautama Buddha. With this, the cultivation of Way in the present life may soon be a thing of the past.

He said that the teachers of the Way or Doctrine will be the first to degenerate and they will soon no longer teach the Doctrine. This will preclude the ebbing away of the Doctrine. When the Doctrine is sidelined and gone, then conditions would be bad enough for the coming of another Buddha to teach the Doctrine.
Though portrayed a general,
Lord Bo Tien is no general
Doctrine is in image
Image is doctrine
As Lord Bo Tien has told us his mission of Heaven is to revive the basic doctrine behind all religions and sects so that men grasp the truth common to all religions and sects separate from the latter dogmas, additions and interpretations over the centuries that lapsed since the days of the founding prophets or saints.

It is important to go to upper source of a stream for clear water. This the lord saint did say.
Is he the next replacement for Gautama or is he the one who prepares for the coming of the next historical Buddha who is none other than Maitreya?
