The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Christmas is the celebration of life

No 229 of Living Life Series 1

The day of the birth of Christ on 25th December is the day of mass, the day for the celebration of life. We celebrate and live life in God, in the Holy Spirit and in Man, the Son.

We recognize that God is triune. He is the One. He is the Holy Spirit and He is in Man. Jesus embodies the three. The three is one and from one, comes two and then three. This has some parallel with the Three Purities or Absolutes of Taoism.

From these, men in God speak out to more men and fan out for the good of the many and for the benefit of one and all. This is the spirit and the life of Christmas.

This celebration of life in God is universal beyond religion, sect, creed and race. No other celebration reaches out to the modern man like the ocean to all corners than Christmas.

Christmas is for all. The belief is simple, yet profound and ever far reaching, like the ocean lapping on the shores of many a land. Just do believe in God, Holy Spirit and Man. Then all can cherish and celebrate goodness of life - in God, in Holy Spirit and in Man His Son.

This is also the manifest expression of inner truth behind life that God wants us to know through iconic individual like Lord Bo Tien. The latter is not here to start a new religion but He wants all to better appreciate prevailing ones, more so the one that appeals to the person so that that person can celebrate life not just on special day but every day.

The spirit of Xmas is in love,
in giving and receiving

Let every day be a Christmas for love, for giving and for receiving. Let it be as it has to be for everyone, that is, for the infinite many beyond the finite few. This all embracing love for life is the true spirit and meaning of Xmas. Love and be loved. Give and be given. Bless and be blessed. Cherish and be cherished. Cheers. Have a joyful Xmas not just on that one special day but for every day.

Live and believe that there is the One. From the One, there is the Two and from the Two there is the Three. Then arises all the rest, the many levels of heaven, the religions and the sects and all that are and will be. All religions are one and it is not wrong to say that there is only one. But from one, there is the two and from two, there will be the three and more. God is one and from one, there is the two and from two, there is the three and more -- the pure ones and the saints. Then comes the religions, the sects, the chapters and the schools. All these are to be and have to be, so that more souls may be reached and saved as embodied by the inner truth message of Lord Bo Tien. To  some Christians, Christianity is the main one. This is true so long as we realize that there is the one. From one, arises the two, and from two, arises the three and more. (Do refer to  Messages before 1974)

PS A word of note is that in the beginning there was God and the primordial energy from which God manifested. The primordial energy was the base from which arose one and from one there arose the two and from two there arose three and more. You can say that there is God, the Holy Spirit and the Son in man. From there, arose more, the pure ones and the saints, also the levels of heaven, and all that are below. The primordial energy that remained devolved or rather evolved to be what Taoists refer to as yin and yang. There will always be the dynamism and flux between the yin and yang - the polarities of life and universe. Beings must attain the balance and have inner peace and eventual enlightenment to be with God and divinity. This is the way, the truth and the light.

(The above article is meant to provide an alternative view that affords insight into the comparative similarities between religions and between the west and the east. It is meant to attract readers who want serious alternative views that are different and refreshing and yet in some way conform to the standard or conventional views held by mainstream factions and diversions that spear head present day approaches and variations. It is never the intention of the writer to ruffle feathers or to upset the peace but to promote sense of unity and sameness of purpose across and amid the diverse sects and religions of the world. Alternative views are but part of the same spectrum of views that are in concordance, somewhat identical and yet distinct from one another. The writer does not represent the views of any one group but may touch on views that may appear to be that of certain groups and yet still differ somewhat. He is not writing from the angle of any one sect or religion but tries to view issues using the inner truth message of Lord Bo Tien. Do remember that the inner truth message is not the basis of a new sect or religion and Lord Bo Tien has no set intention for a new sect or religion. He speaks out to the wisdom and Godliness of all people regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none.)

Poinsettias

Poinsettias and Christmas
Jesus's birthday. The girl gathered roadside weeds to place at the church altar. Crimson "blossoms" red leaves sprouted to become beautiful poinsettias. In the 17th century, Mexican Franciscan friars included the plants in their Christmas celebrations. The star-shaped leaf pattern resembles the Star of Bethlehem, and the redness of leaves reminds us of the love of Jesus for mankind with his blood sacrifice through crucifixion.

A white Christmas with buffet setting
of blessings with many stars of Bethlehem

at a restaurant in Singapore.
It was in a manger that the baby Jesus
was born on Christmas Day.

Let there be many stars of Bethlehem to guide us to God and the gift of God in saints like Lord Jesus. Let every day be a White Christmas, so pure, peaceful, and with festive joy reaching out to all irrespective of creed, color or conviction or even if none. Even the wayward too can feel the joy and peace.
