The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Be still and peaceful while running your life

No 251 of Living Life Series 1

even unto the end. Do so by enabling the pakua in your life

There is the need to hold on to hope in life.

Even if we are old and the main part of our life is behind us, we need to make our life ahead meaningful and purposeful. But we have to be able to reconcile with limitations of age and strike a balance.

Go along with flow in life but ride not the tidal wave of life which when we are young we have no difficulty handling. Handling two jobs or changing jobs less of issue when young but not when old. Even if we can do so in old age, the effort can be onerous and unsettling.

Go for smoothness in flow and enable peace in the process as well. This is more so for the old. The joy in life is to live life, to experience the flow and not be left on wayside even if we be old.
But to be satisfactory, there must be peace and we must be able to eschew every moment of what we do and yet not waste time or be side tracked. We must complete life issues in good time and at same time be rewarded and have fulfilment in process.

This fulfilment is best described as joyful peace or to put it more correctly, we must be serene and appear at rest even while running along in life. To be at rest while running, we must train to run without pushing to our limits. Otherwise, we may stall, perhaps even have to stop and start all over again not just in this life but in next. This is more true as we age but applies to the young as well

The important issue is to keep moving at restful pace appropriate for age. That way, we will relish life moments and be fulfilled moment by moment.  But remember to move on in life and to flow with the world and be part of this world of God. Live life. Do not leave life. Run your life at ease and peace  --- in harmony and equilibrium with the world of ups and downs, of yin and yang.

This is the doctrine embodied in the pakua and the image of Lord Bo Tien. We need to move and yet be still like in the centre of pakua with the flux of yin and yang. Enable the pakua in our life.

Enable the pakua in our life

The seated pose of the lord saint with feet astride the elements of yin and yang tells us to ride on and balance the yin and yang so as to be at peace - to be still and restful and yet move on in life. This is the way of inner truth of life.

Be still and peaceful while running your life

Stay still and be at peace even while running and moving on in life. This seems to be the silent message depicted by the the seated image of Lord Bo Tien with the left hand in salutation. We must hold on to the inner truth of life as depicted by the right hand of the lord saint holding on to the sceptre of truth.

Be still and peaceful while running your life.  Then no issue will be too small for you or too big for you to handle. Why? The simple truth is that you are cool. calm and collected because you keep still (in mind) and are at peace while running your life.

Issues however big will at least become small issues and small issues be no issue. This will be more so when you are able to enable the inner truth in your life and able to be at peace with life to call upon the blessings of God and saints. Your life like a candle flame will glow even brighter if sheltered by the heavenly saints.

This is the reassurance of heavenly saints like Lord Bo Tien. This paves the way for heaven on earth in this life and you do not need to wait for heaven in afterlife.

Be still and peaceful while running your life. Then no issue will be too small for you or too big for you to handle. The challenge is to be still and peaceful when you are having a bad patch or when you are old and in the last phase of your life or near the end of the rope of life. Always have hope and hold on to the cheer in life.

Give this some thought but do so peacefully and pleasantly if you can. Give this a try. No harm  in trying even if the end is nigh. Even if precious little peace you get, at least some worthwhile merits (from generating pure thoughts) you can get out of the last bit of your human life which may not come your way again at least not in the same form.

The good thoughts and wishes of the person at the end of life especially if directed for others can do wonders for the living and this in turn will prove to be a boon for the person as well, at least for the afterlife.

Be still and peaceful while running your life even unto the end. Do so by enabling the pakua in your life. Then you can handle all ends and have no problem in handling even the end. No issue will be to big and no issue will be too small for you to handle at any point in your life.

Cheers and God bless.
