Be the solution and not be part of the problem.

In life, be it in spiritual or otherwise, we must seek solution to problems. But invariably if we look hard enough, we are part of any problem as well even if we can point fingers that the problem lies with others. 

We often add to the problem by doing the very thing which we don't want others to do to us. We do the same to the same to them. Let us be the solution to the problem and not part of the problem. 

The problems of men, the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says, are many and plentiful. 

Knowing that men themselves are part of the problem they grumble about, how much can God and saints do? The answer is they still can but men must have insight why they end up part of the problem they grumble about. 

Men fail to fathom that they are the problem. They think only how to be better somehow often at others expense. They turf guard and expand their turfs. They intrude, encroach and cause discomfort to others. 

They have the strong ego drives. They contribute to the making or at least the worsening and perpetuating of the problem. They want good for themselves but end up doing no good to others - ultimately causing their own problems. 

They fail to see the simple solution to life taught by God, saints and all religions. Do good, avoid doing no-good and purify the mind. 

Yes, indeed, we must purify the spirit. This seems simple and logical, really common sense but many don't even have logic and common sense. 

They don't care. All they need and want is how to get more good for themselves - never mind about others. In the process, they cause problems and are not up to any good even for themselves. They create ill-will and unpleasantness. 

This will boomerang on themselves. There are those who seem better and in championing what is right and the solution, they add to the problem by thinking more of themselves than others. 

They lack balance. They lack purity and the inner peace that comes with pursuit of purity. That is why many religious institutions end up the cause of problems they set out to provide solutions. 

The waning and decline of pureness of religions is due to the lack of insight of the inner peace way basic and behind all religions. Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is mission orientated to correct and rectify this, so that we regardless of our religious persuasions will be able to see the light and be better at what we are - by knowing the way of inner peace behind all religions. 

The way is to balance the yin and yang and be atop them to have inner peace. We need to balance self good and other's good. 

Going for too much of either is not good and never will be good. Denying one's own good or going for own good at others' expense disrupts the balance and there will be no peace of spirit. 

The image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 embodies this - with feet atop and balancing polarities - yin and yang. The image is the Doctrine. The Doctrine is the image. 

The image embodies the inner truth behind all religions - the truth of the way to inner peace come what may. This applies to all even family men and women

A family man or woman must not ignore or neglect his or her family. At the same time, he or she must not be greedily attached to family. He or she must not overdo. There must be balance too in family life. 

Then there will be inner peace for the family man or woman. Then he or she can have the same inner peace that even many monks, priests and pastors want to have but don't have because they overdo. 

We must not end up part of the problem in trying to offer the solution. We may even end up as the problem proper. 

Be the solution and not be the problem or part of the problem. The solution too must not be the problem. This happens when there is wrong false belief like eternity in hell. 

No one is damned to eternity. Hell is just for rehabilitation. No one is in eternal Heaven. Heaven is only a respite stay for those who have been good and they have to undergo more lives to continue to cultivate purity of spirit. 

False beliefs give rise to disappointment and problems but some like it that way. They say so what if their beliefs are wrong. They like it that way. These are likely the very ones who say that others should follow them.  

Well many with good understanding still hold on to not so good or true beliefs as they prefer the thinking of belief and be saved. They need to hold on to this thinking even if it can generate problem for them - even if the solution is in itself problem generating. The solution ends up as part of the problem. 

They will end up peddling a dream and others will end up believing that this and nothing else is true to true. Thus while they know the reality and choose the belief and be saved thinking, they influence others to their dream way of thinking. These others will see not the reality and mistake the dream thinking as reality and ultimate truth. 

Dreams are always attractive and though too good and simplistic to be true. Dreams spur us on but we must still not lose sight of reality and the hard truth, otherwise we are in for problems down the road. A solution hailed by many may be part of the bigger problem of society in the long run. 

In short, go for the solution but not be part of the problem. Don't contribute to problem. The last word however is this. Problem is learning in itself if we open our eyes and be insightful enough - if we care to meditate and be aware.
