No 1109 of Living Life Series 1
There may be many temples, religions and sects but there is only one God and divinity of heavenly saints.
The ultimate temple is the world. This is the universal temple.
The sky is the roof of the temple. God and heavenly saints provide the roof or shelter. All beings will be sheltered. Religions are the pillars of this temple.
This is told to us by the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 who descended in 1969 in Singapore to remind all of the basic truth behind all the religions we have in this world.
All religions are one in the universal temple. Lean not on only one pillar but learn from the pillars of religions in this world.
Believe in all saints. Their glory is in the thought of men. We must believe in their teachings but in context and in wise way.
Thus the existing religions and teachings are more than enough. The good lord starts no new sect or religion. He favors none but had in 1969 to descend in one - a Chinese temple often mistaken as superstitious and too traditional to be appreciated by those who want to know more.
He emphasizes that even in such a temple, there is Good Worth, Good Works and Good Word.
Good Worth refers to devotion and worthiness to God and includes discipline, simplicity and humility.
Good Works refer to welfare assistance to the destitute but must include more than this - helping those in trouble or with problems.
The good lord says that the problems and issues of men are many and plentiful. Bring our problems to God and saints. Our individual respective skills and resources do come in handy to help one another. We too can have fellowship. These are the three ways to handle problems and issues.
There is one limitation though. There is the element of fate. Knowing the Word or doctrine in life is the God Knowledge we should have. This is the Good Word. This gives the correct outlook in life to bring true inner peace, come what may.
What is Good Word? There is God. There are heavenly saints. There are issues or problems - the yin and yang. They are the ups and downs. There is need to know this, do what we can, not run from them. We need to atop and balance them to have peace in life. But we must begin with the practice of inner peace.
We need to know all these. There is no need to know more of who is God or saints but only the Word he wants us to know. The Word is God and saints. He who knows the Word knows God and saints
Good Worth, Good Works and Good Word are practiced in all religions. Religions are the pillars of the universal temple of Good Worth, Good Works and Good Word.
