The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Honoring God with three incense sticks

No 1099 of Living Life Series 1

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 upholds there are many religions but one God. The basic Word is to be good. Religions tell men how to be good. There is oneness of religions but yet religions do differ so as to reach out to all men and beings at all levels of spiritual maturity.

Well, we have one God and many religions, one religion and many sects or denominations, one sect and many schools, one school and many temples. This is the reality of life. How else could Heaven reach out to more and all?
But some in their zest and love for God proclaim that their religion, their sect, their school and their temple is the only one for all. This is due to their head over heel love for God.

They have the strong possessive nature. They want to possess even God. They want God to be what they think God should be. This is due to their pride in what they have. Their idea of God is one of them. They have strong ego drives.

This is good in a way but in the wrong context can be not so good. That they are religious there is no doubt. That they have yet to go beyond their ego that they know better there is no doubt.

Unlike man, God is not like that. God embraces all even those who know less, those who don't believe in him, those who think differently from other men. That is why we say that God is.

Man tends to decide for other men. God does not do so. There is free will. Men can think and this is the gift of Heaven. Why should God dictate what men think and what men should do?

All are near and dear to God and heavenly saints - even those who have failed and spoken ill of God and saints. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 adds that the far may be near and the near far.
Those who want God for themselves are near but yet far. Those who don't care at all who God is but embrace godly love for other men even if they have done harm and hurt to them are near to God though seemingly far.

God is great. He gives to us and does not need us to give back to him. But perhaps let us honor God in a very simple and meaningful way by offering three incense sticks to God under the open sky. May our goodness rise to be with God above like the fragrance of the incense sticks.

God is God. God needs nothing from us - not even our praises and adulation. Three incense sticks will do. Is there the need to sing, shout, dance and chant for him? Some men on Earth will badly want this. But how on Earth will God want this from us? Just three simple incense sticks will do.
The wonderful part is that often God grants our wishes even if we don't deserve them. He hardly have to do so if he waits for us to be deserving.

But mind you the praises of men are not at all in his mind. He is beyond the need for praises and worship.

He feels sorry for those who think He has forsaken them. He God will do what is good for them. God reaches out to all even those who create Hell and those in Hell.

One word of advice is timely at this juncture. How much God can do depends as much on the receiver of his goodness - whether the receiver can make good what God gives. Fate may be why no change there is to life but don't point fingers at fate or at God.

To make the story short and sweet, if we want to reach out to God, just three incense sticks will do. But even if none, it does not matter to God or any heavenly saint.
God is God. Saints are saints. They are not men. They are beyond the need for gratification. Men must learn to be like them. Give but expect not to receive... Think over this.
