No 1107 of Living Life Series 1
We are the world. The world is us. We make the world. The world makes us out to be what we are and will be. We in turn make the world to be what it is and will be.
Life is the world. The world is about life. Nothing matters more than life and to be alive. We must be alive to life. Life must come to be alive in us moment by moment and day by day. We must not be dead to life. We must not dread life.
At the same time we must not waste away life nor live as though there is no tomorrow and no life after today. In short, we must be at peace with life and we must be the world. The world is us.
We cannot have the whole world. But the world we are in is world enough for us. It is the world that matters. It is our world. We make this world work for us.
We do so by making sure that we are made for the world we are in. We learn to be in tune with the world and not just be part of the world.
For our own world, we must be the whole world and not part of it. We must be atop and we must balance the ups and downs, the ebbs and flow of life in the world. We must be pure and calm - be at peace with the world, come what may.
We try to be purer by the moment and add to the purity and peace in this world. We must add to the worthiness and wholesomeness of life and life is the world.
Let us be the pure essence that this world should have more of. Let us be like what the image of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 depicts - pure and whole, ever atop and balancing the yin and yang - the changes...
The world must be at our feet. We must be on top of the world we live in and not the world be on top of us. This is what we mean when we say, "We are the world."
When down, never give up. When up, don't be keeled over by jubilation. Just be on top and keep the peace with head on shoulders. Remember we are the world and the world is us. Be at peace and keep the peace, come what may.
Storms do not last forever. Calm and peace will return. We are the world we live in. We make the world work for us and not we work for the world.
Have the peace. Be worthy. Be good. Be wise. Embody the three aspects of divinity - Good Worth, Good Works and Good Word as represented by the three images of Lord Bo Tien, Goddess of Mercy and Buddha.
We are the world. We determine the world. We made up our own world.
The world should not determine us. But sadly this is what is happening to many. Many are at the mercy of the world.
They are just digits of the world and lost in the world. They must find themselves. They must find the world they need. They must own their world. They have to be their own world and this has to be.
