But the problems of man are many and plentiful. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that life of man is like that.
This is common sense isn't it? This is the truth and truth is always simple but somehow when we are engrossed in issues of life, we don't see it.
We just go on and on, trying to go for more in life. We solve problems. At the same time, when we have yet to solve those problems in hand, we want more out of life and create more problems to solve.
We go for more and more means more problems. We say this is alright and we go on. But eventually more is no longer as good as before. More becomes less.
We need to decide what are the must-have and what are the good-to-have. Having nothing and giving up is problematic. Going for too much is also problematic.
We go for the what we must have and perhaps a bit more of the good to have. It all depends on what we can comfortably cope.
What we must have among all the must-have is the inner peace in us. Then what we do must not disturb this peace. This boils down to cultivating the art of inner peace. They call this common sense or logic.
Common sense is not as common and men in living the life of wants tend to lose this and badly need to have common sense. It is no longer common sense after all. That is why it is referred to as the Way or Tao 道.
In a way, this is present in all religions but men of religions in being passionate of their religion make a mountain even out of a mole hill instead of flattening it. They create problems when they say at the very first instance that religion can help you. That can be ironical.
But men are like that, more so men of religion. They lack Tao 道 basic in religion and present in all religions. When they see not the logic or Tao 道, religion instead of solving problems may create more problems. They cannot figure out why they end up with problems sometimes more than before.
If there is lack of the inner truth of Tao 道, the logic in life, religion cannot be as useful to life as intended. Why religion sometimes add to problems is because of lack of insight of the inner truth - the logic of life we call Tao 道.
But in explaining Tao 道, society makes it so profound that almost all cannot understand it. Sometimes we wonder why religions instead of bringing understanding of peace to men end up doing the opposite.
Perhaps this is in the nature of men. Men create problems in trying to solve problems. The problems of men are indeed many and plentiful. Thus we need God and heavenly saints to guide us and show us on the simple inner truth of simple logic that we must have but fail to have.
We always want more and that is the problem. Then when we decide not to do so, we end up swinging to the other extreme. We want close to nothing and that kills life as well. That kills the peace that we should have.
We often cannot help ourselves correctly. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that is why we need God and saints to shelter us and guide us so that issues will be no issues. Big issues even if cannot be no issue will at least be less of issue. There is also the element of fate.
The answer then is to have insight of life Tao 道 and not fight life. That way we can have more of peace, and Santa will be coming our way not just on Christmas but every day.
Well we must just do this. Accept that which we cannot change. Go for peace. Go for the brighter side of life. Move on and do what we can. Do not do nothing. Do not over do. Then we can have more of inner peace.
Let us light three incense sticks for God and saints to guide us to more inner peace.
