No 1096 of Living Life Series 1
Just have the peace to begin with, even before we think or do anything. Truth is as simple as that but yet profound and not easy to perceive. How can it be so easy? Yes it is but yet not within reach of the many, all because men are always lost in their thoughts, lost by the many considerations of life - the yin and the yang.
We end up not having common sense or logical thinking. What we need is peace. This is the logical thinking - the common sense we refer to as Tao 道.
Be at peace to do anything in life. What we need more in life is to have peace.

If lighting three incense sticks give us the peace, do so. It is better to have some semblance of peace then none at all.
Perhaps, breathing exercises or sucking a sweet may have the same effect, or even being with or talking to someone we like can have the same effect.
We can find many such persons either in a house of God or out there - in fact anywhere. This some refers to as fellowship.
Cell groups are meant for that. Members of a group often find peace and keeps wanting to be together again - not necessarily for prayers and religious discussions but for social activities as well.

Obviously, for the astute at peace, they can find peace anywhere - in noisy places, where hard work is needed or where there are troubles aplenty.

Allot can be said of peace but what matters is whether we have it. Peace is what matters in life and allows us to be attuned to life instead of fighting with life. The irony is that we can even fight with our own thoughts in a room alone if we don't have inner peace. That would be pathetic.
If we live by the Word, we are at peace. The Word is about peace of the spirit. The Word is God. God is about peace. Everything boils down to being at peace, be it in a room or anywhere else.
