The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

"The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want"

No 1072 of Living Life Series 1

Psalms 23, "The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want."

God provides us with enough but not excessive worldly needs so that we be in better position to learn to be at peace with life and in God and saints through the Word.

The Word is to be good, not to be hurtful to others and to be pure at heart. Then we do not want more, are contented with our lot.

We also do not reject or go without the world.  We do not give up with the world.

We are at peace with the world. We are able to be atop the wows and woes of life.

This they refer to as the Way (Tao) - balancing polarities of yin and yang in old China. Buddhists refer to this as the Middle Way.

Christians refer to this as the living in the Word and having inner peace of the Holy Spirit. We will by following the Word be beside still waters and green pastures - be at peace. After all, God is the Word and the Word is God

Psalms 23, "The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters." The Word brings peace.
The image of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 depicts the peace through purity that can be achieved by being atop the yin and yang as depicted by the feet on the elements. This explains why he too said that the Doctrine is the image and the image is the doctrine.
This post demonstrates the oneness of the Word in all religions. Meditation too is no longer the purview of one or two religions but of all. Meditation is about calmness and insight of life.

Anyone can have better inner peace by learning from other religions to better know their own. They will end up better at what they are - better in the religion they are in. This is what the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 seek to achieve in his mission.

The mission is to save souls but before that can be, every soul must be better at being what they are. Every being must be good, avoid evil and purify the spirit. This underlines the psalms 23. The emphasis is on being right, good and pure.

"The lord is my shepherd and I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake..."

By being good and pure, we restore and save our souls. That is it. Peace be, peace be for you and for me - for one and all.
