The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Be rooted in purity and stay evergreen

No 1060 of Living Life Series 1

A man of spirituality must be rooted in doctrine and he must be pure in spirit to maximize the effectiveness of the doctrine in him and through him.

This is more so if he is to be spiritual leader. Otherwise, he would be more akin to any non-spiritual leader.

A religious organization too would be more like a worldly one if the people running it are more polluted by the ways of the world - by the ego and the need to be in charge and in control.

This is likely as many are not ready and pure in intent. They still want personal gains and this colors their motivation.

But without them, who else would be there to constitute the flock?

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 has this to say. "Blame not the flower for insects coming to it for nectar."
Thus he added that where there are men, the problems of men are many and plentiful. This applies too in any temple and a temple of the lord is no exception.

He stresses on the need for men of any temple to be rooted in subterranean water of spirituality so that they can weather onslaught of drought and problems. Then they can be evergreen and fruitful.

He said that even a whole orchard of fruit trees might wither and be barren of leaves let alone bear fruit come dry seasons. But the lone fruit tree at the foot of the hill outside the orchard will stay evergreen and bear fruits throughout the year though unattended by gardeners. It is rooted in ground water.

It is good to be rooted and nourished by purity of doctrine that can be found in all religions. Religions may be different but are one in need for basic goodness and purity of men - in basic doctrine.

Truth after all is that simple but yet profound and difficult to perceive. That is why there is the mission of the lord to bring out the pure goodness of the Word in all religions - not to add a new religion, sect or temple to add to the existing plethora.

Do be rooted in purity and stay evergreen. For this, we may need to be different from the crowd. We must not follow the crowd but dare to stand out from the crowd.  But is this the case?

Anyway as what the good lord says that the near may be far and the far near. The crowd in a temple may be near but what matters is more than being there.

There is the need to be pure and evergreen come what may. Be a living expression of the Word - the doctrine common to and behind all religions.

The mission of Heaven is to enable people to be pure and evergreen through their respective religions. Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 is the messenger of Heaven for this mission. His mission is just that alone and nothing else.

It is not for others to know him or worship him. You do not need to know him. You only need to know the Word and be pure.

You do not need to know God but only the Word for the Word is what matters. The Word is what makes us pure and be close to God and saints.

The Word makes us be like God and saints. The Word is God and saints. Live and nourish in the Word. Stay pure and evergreen that way come what may.
