The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Everything happens for a reason

No 1049 of Living Life Series 1

Everything happens for a reason. We may think that it may be by chance but have we look further back to know why it is so?

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that where there is men and as long as there are men, even in a temple, the issues of men are many and plentiful. The whole problem is that men are not yet saints and if they are, is there the need for them to be in a temple or is there the need for a temple in the first place?
Likewise, for the unfortunate few who are disadvantaged in life, they may think that heaven is not fair. The question is why are they disadvantaged.

Is the cause in them, in the present life or in the past lives? Some refer to this as fate. But it is just matter of as we sow, so will we reap.

If we over reap and there is no bank balance of good merits store, then what do we expect. Live in moderation and never indulge for indulgence creates problems and uses up good fate.

A heavenly saint may start a new temple but in is in the nature of men that insects will be attracted to the flower for nectar. Blame not the flower for insects coming to it. This did the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 say.

Any temple may start off well with zest and love but ends up down the road with something far from love for one and all - becoming exclusive to a select few and hostile to those who differing views. Who do we point fingers at? Certainly, it has to do with lack of upbringing in doctrine and practice.

If  a couple wants easy life and have less children, when they grow old and the children are unable to support them adequately, who do they blame?

Well, isn't it true that everything happens for a reason. If for any reason, you do not believe in this, then there is a reason too for you to be like that. Everything happens for a reason.

We do know everything happens for a reason but sometimes we wish we know what it was. If indeed we do not know, then there must be a reason for not knowing.

Everything happens for a reason. Live it, love it and learn from it. Make your smile change the world, but don't let the world change your smile.

Whatever happens, what matters is that you are alive. Not only must you be alive but you must be alive to life - not dead to life. That is the way to be.

Wake up and live. Be thankful to the bad things in life for they open your eyes to the good things in life.

Prophets might die or be crucified but through their deaths they open up life beyond death - life beyond the bad things. Good will result even through the worst of bad things which is death. Isn't that the message?

Everything happens for a reason. If indeed, bad things happen in a temple, it is the sign that good things will come about. Just wait and see. Seeing is believing.
