God and heavenly saints do speak to men, otherwise we will not have scriptures and religions of the day.
Men are imperfect asnd that must be accepted. But God and saints can still speak through men. Men must be able to decipher what comes out through men.
As the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says, "Know the man from saint and the saint from man." It does not mean that a wayward man cannot be chosen for the saint to reach out to and speak to other men.
Know what is from saint and what is from the man. Then we can appreciate the words of God and saint coming out from the man at the pulpit.
But we do need listeners to be wise to know the man from God and the God from man - not see the man as God and God as the man.
Men must cultivate goodness and pure thoughts to be able to do so. There is always two sides to the coin. There is always the good and the flip-side of good in life - in fact in most if not all things and issues in life.
That is why despite the transgressions of a pastor or priest, people still value the sermons given by him because they can see the man from God and the God from man.
They are able to appreciate the gospel spoken by pastors and priests who had transgression of the law, be it of the land or of God. They can know what are from God and what are from man. They are the more discerning ones. They are the blessed ones.
The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that if heaven wants it, a flawed man can be chosen to be a leader and to be trained. This applies to any temple and that goes without saying.
Thus in any temple of any saint, do not point fingers and discredit the choice of God and saints though the man chosen may discredit himself in the eyes of many men. Saints can bring out the good in any man though he may still not seem good at all in the eyes of fellow men.
Men tend to see an unpolished diamond as an ordinary stone but if God and saints want it, even an ordinary stone can be like a diamond.
God can speak through even a flawed man. The judgement of men should not be mistaken as that of God and saints.
God never question the choice of men but men may end up questioning the choice of God. God is open to that as men must learn to decide for themselves. Man must be more discerning and know what is of God and what is of men.
If men do not cultivate purity of spirit, they will not be able to see good as good and bad as bad in the same man. They will even see him as totally bad because he has some bad in him.
That is why there is the need to cultivate purity and the 49 Days Purity Observance before Mission Day is the step in the right direction. Mission Day falls on the 13th day of the ninth lunar month. It marks the anniversary of the descent of Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 in 1969.
