The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Don't let others think for us

No 1023 of Living Life Series 1

The mistake of many is to think for others and not ask what others think. Worse still is not to allow others to think, be it in religion or secular matters.

Some don't even think enough and they don't welcome others who can think better or differently. Some think a little more and think allot of themselves. They impose on others and cause distress. All must be encouraged to think and work things out for themselves.
That is why the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 came down only for a few years from 1969 and within that short time, he left us pointers to guide us in thinking for decades and perhaps even for centuries.

He did not think for men. He wants men to think and be better off in the religion they are in - not to give up the thinking of their respective religion but to improve and polish up their thinking and be better than what they already are.

This is yet another perspective of the mission of the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 - a mission to improve on all religions and sects so that all will arrive at deeper insight of life and the oneness of religions.
Men must think and not be told what to accept. They must not let others think for them. Otherwise, men at the pulpit may cause more problems and issues not only for men but also for God and saints.

We know best mentality is a cause for concern even if indeed we do know best. The reason is that we will always be far from the mark. Even God keeps his silence and He has his reasons.

So in a way, this article should not have been written and should not be read if you think the writer or writers have the you know best mentality. Oops, it is not the you know best mentality but rather they know best mentality.

Who is doing the thinking? Can others think for us? Can we stop others from thinking? Well this post or article should set you thinking.

Remember it is alright to differ and to have doubts. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 did say. Doubts arise because men do not understand but when matters are clarified and better understood, they know better and are more convinced. They come out stronger in faith and in life...
