The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Mockery of the calling and mission of Heaven

No 429 of Living Life Series 1

The irony of men is that despite "the issues of men are many and plentiful" as noted by Lord Bo Tien, some sadly enough think they are in paradise and crave for power and status even in any temple of a lord saint. They even have no qualms in hijacking or usurping the mission of a temple for their own agenda.

Lord Bo Tien

They do behave as though they literally have nothing to do after taking their daily meals when often even a good meal is of no certainty and a good day without problems cannot be assured.

People certainly like to live ridiculous lives but the great joke is that they make mockery of a temple and its mission.

They should go for peace through being one with life and nature - the sages of old refer to as the harmony of yin and yang that is Tao.

That men instead make mockery of a temple and its mission just go to show that they know not the doctrine told by their respective lord saint.

Men in relation to a temple of a lord saint often are like insects drawn to a flower for nectar. They go for nectar of personal needs or agenda and not for the mission to save souls - the calling of Heaven. This did Lord Bo Tien opine.

"Blame not the flower for insects coming to it for nectar." He said.

But as said by Lord Bo Tien, even those who come to a temple for less noble intent and for that matter even if they are thieves, a lord saint has the prerogative of training them if the said saint chooses to do so. Let not men judge lest they be judged.

Lord Bo Tien cautions that hypocrisy can be rife in religious institutions. Men may not be sincere and are great in con jobs in the name of religion. That this happens is not the fault of the lord saint of the temple. He said, "Blame not the flower for insects coming to it for nectar." The lord saint also did say, "Men must learn from the strengths and weaknesses of other men in the temple."

This way they can awake within the cruel darkness of incessant rebirths the Tao or Buddha nature in them so that they have eternal light - the divine peace of enlightenment.

We may call this by any name, be it Tao, Buddha or Holy Spirit. A rose by any name or color is simply just as sweet.
