The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Be easy with life

No 438 of Living Life Series 1

Do be easy with life. Do not spit fire into life and be burnt by life. Do not live as though there is no tomorrow.

Do not live as though tomorrow will be worse off than today. Do not live in the past. The past may be good or bad. It does not matter so long we know how to live today and prepare for tomorrow. The past is history. The present is a present. Treasure it. The future can still be mystery even if we prepare for it.

Live life. But do not live as though we will never die. Do do live as though we will surely die. We must know why we live and why we have to die one day. We do not deny life. We do not need to die to life.

Be easy with life and trot along
Do not race along as though
if we don't do so we will die

Go easy with life. Learn from each moment of life. To be at peace with the moment is momentous gain. To welcome the next moment is more worthwhile. To accept the past moment is to add to the peace of here and now. To be at peace with the now is to make the future more easy.

Be easy with life. That is the way to be. That is Tao of the sages of old. Religions should teach man to live life in peace and not to live as though we must return to yesterday or live only for tomorrow.

Do not be victims of prophets of doom and gloom. Do not live as though we will surely die or as though there is no tomorrow.

Go easy with self. Be easy with life. This is the doctrine in the image of the lord saint Lord Bo Tien.

Be steadfast and steady like as encouraged by the left hand of the lord in salutation.

Hold on to the principle of living life correctly as depicted by the right hand of the lord holding on to the scepter of life and living.

Live the good life by balancing and moderating as depicted by the feet of the lord atop the elements and polarities of life - the yin and the yang.

Do not live as though we will never die and do not live as though we will surely die at the next breath. Be at peace with life and death.

Go easy with life. But do not give up, for that is to die even before we live. Do not go for more and more. That is to ask for trouble and create more. That is to live to die.

Be easy with life. Be like Lao Tse and ride into life on a water buffalo to be closer to life and nature so as to have more life. Less is more and more is less.

The far may be near to peace of life and the near may be far. This too did Lord Bo Tien say.

Those, who think that going for more can be good, may be far from good. Those who think that having less of life is bad may indeed be far from bad.

Ji Gong has more though he lived a beggarly life. So did Gautama in his life time as man after becoming the Buddha when he went round for alms.

Ji Gong

Go for life at a comfortable pace. Slow down the pace to suit our pace of life. Do not rush along and do not idle way. Do always have breather time to smell the flowers along the way.

Take things at restful pace and yet make the day. Be like Ji Gong everyday for all days. He can do so even though he is a saint with more to care than us. Why cannot we when we are far from being saint?

Go easy with life and life will not be hard and unyielding. Life will be more fruitful and rewarding that way.

Religions too must take the lead to teach men to go easy with life and not threaten them with hell fire if men do not toe the line and do their bidding. Religions will be more appealing that way.

Omitofo sets the tone of how to go easy with men and how men live. No need to belong to him or kowtow to him. If we do need help, we need just call his name - Omitofo. There are no strings attached and no bargains. This is for sure as he is saint of saints. He is the provider of heavenly life even on earth so that we can walk the Way, be it called Tao or the Middle Way.
