No 1046 of Living Life Series 1
Men who go to a temple to find worldly satisfaction often end up creating more of dissatisfaction for themselves for the temple is no different from the likes of the world.
This is because they want the world out of the temple they go to. But if this is the case, they might as well stay put with the world.
Instead of trying to make the world out of a temple, they should make the temple out of the world.
But those who are unhappy with what they can get out of the world often go to a temple and after some time if they fail to see the light of heaven and see only more of the darkness of the world, then they will leave the temple for the world again.
But while they stay put in the temple, they may create more darkness and problems for those who go there for light.
But is there the need to go to a temple?
Well, the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 has this to say. The true temple is the world and the sky is the roof of the temple. Religions are the pillars. All beings are already in this temple.
The gospel of this temple is life. Life is the living gospel.
Unlike a concrete temple, the world belongs to all. All are part of the world.
But only a handful are part of a concrete temple built by men. Such is the reality of what a temple should ideally not be. Many may be the devotees but few are members because of turf guarding. Why keep a temple to a few?
But alas this often is the case and that is the problem because temple is made up of men. The problems of men are many and plentiful. The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 did say this.
Well, well what can we expect when in all likelihood, men who run a temple are worldly and have egos that are big and space occupying - just like cancer.
Ego like cancer if not nipped in the bud can devour and swallow up not only the man but other men as well. Of course it can swallow up a temple built with the sweat and blood of pioneers and good men.
Better get out of the way of ego crazy men in a temple. Better get out of the confines of a temple and be in the world. Make the temple out of the world and not think the world of a temple.
We can worship God better in the world. But in a temple built by men for God, we more likely have to worship men first before we can even smell God.
It is one thing to believe but it is another to try to put into practice. It is onerous to abide by the norm that man is man and saint is saint - or rather God is God. This too did the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 say and this applies to all regardless of whatever religious persuasions.
Hope this post with pearls of wisdom from the good lord make all better in whatever religion or culture they are in - better at what they are and not change or convert them to be poor examples or replicas of what they are not.
Make the temple out of the world. In fact, we can better meditate in the world of our home and even experience the holy spirit of God.
For Taoists and believers of deities like Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨, the unspeakable mystical divine force or energy of art of power tingling and coursing inexplicably through the limbs and body on invitation can be equally accessible out there in the world. This adds further credence that we make the temple out of the world.
The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that the sky or heaven is the roof of the temple. All religions are the pillars and all are already in this temple though they may not know it.
Many even want to leave it to be in a concrete temple built by men. Isn't this ironical? But please don't laugh at this. This is serious matter and not a joke.
