The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The mission for common sense in religions

No 1214 of Living Life Series 1

What is life for? What are we learning or getting out of life? Why we are born not equal in endowments? Where do we come from? Where would we go to? Is this important?

Has religion made us better despite we having religions for centuries? Have the holy ones the saints achieve what they set out to achieve?

Why is it that many questions simply beg more questions? What is happiness?

We can have many smart answers but what matters is that we come to our own conclusions. We do our own thinking. We do not let others think for us. We must not cause pain to self and to others.

We must not deny ourselves or others. We must neither indulge ourselves nor indulge others. We must have the peace.

If we cannot be party to more peace around us, we must at least have the peace in us.

Ask not for nothing and ask not for everything or there be no peace. Just be logical and have common sense.

Common sense is what religion should be built on. Taothe profound way of sages of old in old China is built on common sense.

We don't need to comb the books to know how to have common sense. Remember when we think differently, some others may tell us to stop thinking and tell us to do so as this is the command of God and saints. Are they misusing God? In a way no as they have good intent.

Do we need to forgo common sense even in religion? Perhaps we do need to when we are lost, confused and need help. But subsequently we need to think and think logically we must.

The end result of proper thinking is clear thinking and inner peace. The need to do so is behind and in all religions. This is just logical.

This is the common truth or inner truth behind all religions which the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 descended in 1969 set out to do.
How odd that we need a heavenly saint from outside all religions to do so. He is not here to set a new religion or to favor any. This he did say in case we forgo common sense when awed by him.

That he has to do so is worthy of our reflection. What has happened to men such that we need the mission by the good lord to remind us on this?
