The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

How to make the difference in life?

No 1222 of Living Life Series 1

Just go to a temple. Pray for blessings. That is what we all will do regardless of religion. Just be devoted if you want to do more.

But do we need to do more? Can we many cuts better than just belief and devotion? Can we be more serious than that? Can we be more spiritual? How to do so?

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 tells us that we need to know the inner or basic core of spirituality. What is this core? What should this be?

This is present in all religions and cultures. It has to do with life. It has to do with how we live life. It is more than devotion and prayers and blessings.

It has to do with how good we are and how pure we are in spirit. We must be able to purify the mind and remove the clutter and the excessive wants.

The wants in life are means to the end. What is the end we must arrive at? Many mistake the wants as the end. It is wrong to go for the means as the ends. We will never be at peace, never contented and always wanting and feeling inadequate.

We will even ask more and more from life and from God. If we do that we have made the greatest mistake. We end up with crutch mentality.

We are not doing justice to God and saints. Not that we cannot have wants but we can have wants that will help us feel arrived and have peace that will put a stop to more wants or at least curtail our craving for more and more - the unnecessary and excessive wants.

We will want less when we are at peace. But we cannot depend on others and on life to have peace. we have to have inner peace in us.

God can help us but we must have inner peace in mind. This is what we need to cultivate. We must make the difference with inner peace. This is how to make the difference in life and in spirituality.

What applies to spirituality works as well in life - worldly life. This the good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 reminds us. This is true for all men regardless of culture and religion.

Be in any religion and do what we want but do cultivate inner peace. But doing bad and wanting more and more will not do. Wanting nothing and running away from life and society too will not do. We will be far from inner peace.
