The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

Refer to the Word to verify what is from God and saints

W\e may not be able to see God or speak directly to God. We often talk to God and saints in prayer either at home, anywhere or in a temple. But do we hear God and saints reply to us?

When we speak to them, we do not speak aloud but silently on our mind. Likewise, we should not expect God and saints to speak aloud to us but silently through our mind. 

But when they do so, how are we to know it is our own thought, our own conjecture or the thoughts inserted and coming to us from God and saints. 

Sometimes we even see them in vision like a flash but again can be from this our own mind again? 

Perhaps, the experiences may come not from God and saints, not from the conjecture of our mind but from other than God, saints and ourselves. 

Even with dreams of God and saints, this too may apply. 

Of course, we would like to think we are good enough or lucky enough to have communication with God and saints. But how to know that this is so? 

Many of our fellow church or temple mates may even say that God and saints wanted them to tell us this and that. They insist we follow and do as told. They can be imposing. But how to believe and that is the problem, isn't it? 

The founder saint of many a religion has told us that we must check with the written texts, the bible or what some refer to as the Word. Why can't we check directly with them? 

But we cannot do so like what we do with fellow men. But there is the answer God and saints always say. 

Didn't they say that God or saint is the Word and the Word is God and saint? If our experiences or event languages are from them or with them, then such experiences must be in line with the Word or Doctrine. 

The good lord Lord Bo Tien 武天菩萨 says that he is the Word and the Word is him. His image is the Word and the Word is him. 

Always cross check with the Word and we will know if it is God or saint who is with us and relating to us - not our own imagination or beings who masquerade as God and saints. 

The Word after all is God and saint. We must verify with the Word. The Word is our back-up. The Word is our assurance. 

So if someone say God in a church gave him lottery number and he strike first prize, how can this be if it is not consistent with the Word. If he does not strike any prize and loses money, he cannot therefore say God wants him to lose money and that God is punishing him. 

Likewise if a married man eyes another married woman and prays to God in a church, he cannot say that it is a blessing from God if he enters into adulterous relationship with the woman. The Word would not have allowed this. Man of religion must fall back on the Word to know what is from God and what is not. 

We must indeed refer to the Word to verify what is from God and saints. But at the end of the day, we must not mistake the word written by fallible men as the Word of the infallible God and saints. 

We need to judge if the Word is from and by God and saints. Are the values expounded based on purity of the spirit that is God and will enable us to have purity of spirit? Will we be more godly or saintly? 

This requires us to be at peace and if done correctly will enable more peace in us. With peace comes love and no ignorance. There will be enlightened approach - more common sense and no emotion driven impulsiveness. There will be Tao . We will move from light to light - no delusions whatsoever.  We will end up with God and saints
