The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord Bo Tien (武天菩萨). The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affiliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. Needless to say that all the saints we know are in this temple. Ji Gong Posat too is no exception. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven. We worship God and saints, not man however good that man may be. There should be no hero worshiping or idolizing of man whether he is a charismatic pastor, priest, monk, medium or lay leader. We don't even idol worship the image of any saint but reflect on what the image stands for. - the doctrine in the image. Omitofo 阿弥陀佛!.

The call to live in the heaven of the moment

No 729 of Living Life Series 1

Do not go any further if you are searching for the peace and joy of life. The search ends now with where you are.

Do not run round and round but keep still and listen to yourself. You have arrived if you still your mind and do not strive.

Be yourself and be content with your lot here and now.

There is the peace if you care to be aware of the little things in life - the little blessings that make up life here and now.

Time may not stand still but our heart must not race ahead of time such that we fail to live in the fullness of the moment and try to live in the tomorrow or the next moment. This will never end for there will always be another tomorrow.

There is music in the air if you care to listen. The rustling of the leaves, the whisper of the breeze and green fresh smell of the lush green meadow beckons us to be with the life here and now. This is the gift of life.

Yearn no further but be grateful for the here and now, for what you have and not be ruffled by what you don't have.

What counts is what you have. The little blessings however little they may be do add up to make life come to life.

All is well and worth it if you think you are indeed well. But all is bleak if you turn blind eye to life.

Open your eyes and your senses. See the brightness and lushness of life as it is unfurling before you here and now. Smell the richness of life in the air - the smell of flowers, the smell of fresh bread and the smell of the air after the rain. Hear the plethora of sounds that beckon you to be with life.

There is plenty of life in the moment if you care to live in the moment and not miss the moments of life. There is the call to live the life of the moment. Count your blessings and be blessed even more.

Be yourself and not be someone else that you want to be. That will be pretension and deceit of self. Be like Ji Gong (济公) ever free and living with glee. That way we bless ourselves and will be joy and blessings to those who are with us and who come our way. Who wants to be with one who rumbles and tumbles all the time...

Let us join Ji Gong (济公) to drink to life - the joys of life of the moment. Let us celebrate the peace of the moment in our hearts and in life. This then is heaven that we often fail to know and to live in. This is Ji Gong's (济公) call for all to join him to live the heavenly life of the moment.
