No 1588 of Living Life Series 1
A religion should never be managed as though it is a sovereign state. Then there will be the risks of clash of interests and loyalty to the real state and the religion.
God will never want religion to take over a nation for this will create no peace. God has no need to control and to take over nations. It would be absurd to think God wants to take over a nation.
Let there be religions and let all religions work in the interests of men of all religions and be one with the nation.
God and heavenly saints do not need to demand allegiance out of men. God and heavenly saints do not need to be appointed or voted by men to be God and saints.
Likewise, a temple too should be for people to be near to God and saints.
A temple is never intended to make God to be God.
Men too should never make themselves the gods in the temple and decide who should be in the temple and who should not be welcome there. Man cannot be the God in a temple.
God is still God with or without temples or religions. This reality is so simple but yet many just do not see this. Truth is simple but many just do not perceive - simple but yet profound though not profound at all.
This is the insight Bo Tien 武天 wants all to realize regardless of religion or even if none.
Bo Tien 武天 added that even in a less managed and hardly organised traditional culture of Chinese, we must all the more have this insight. Man must not be muddle headed and do what the likes of Ben or John do.
Otherwise, they will not even see the simplicity of truth. They will never see the simplicity and many will be put off and not come at all, except those dwindling number of oldies who just want to do what they do. Even their children will have little interest to be with them at such temples or religions.
